There are some who go to movies every Friday or Saturday. Then there are some who would see only one or two movies in 4 or 6 months in the Cinema hall. My question is for latter group. What motivates you?
For me I will only go if its a SRK movie or the trailer has raised my curiosity so much that I cant wait for DVD or movies on demand. As of now not a single film this year has raised my curiosity so far. I will be going for Happy new year and P.K. (rajkumar hirani's film). I will see what are the reports of Haider and if its good then I will go.

I heard some movie maker served pakode to the audience in theater last year. That motivated me to go to theater. #BhukkadNo.1

Am way too lazy to go to the theatre and catch a movie cos you can watch the same thing on the net a couple of days later or on TV if you have patience to wait for a couple of months..I need to be motivated enough to shrug off my laziness and go watch the film in a theatre 😆 I don do that even for my favorite actors 😆 The movie needs to have more than that to counterbalance the efforts i need to put in to catch the film in a Cinema Hall 😆 The only film am planning to catch in a theatre this year is Bombay Velvet..

Its a combination of multiple factors.
1) I should like the actor.
2) The movie should be atleast critically good.
3) I watch movies in theatre with my dad. So even he should be interested to watch the movie.
4) The movie shouldn't be houseful, I don't like going to theatres and not getting a ticket. So definitely no big stars movies for me.
5) The movie shouldn't coincide with a period of one month before my exams.
6) I must feel that the producer of the movie is worthy enough to have my ticket money.

If a movie satisfies each and every above condition, I go to watch the movie in the theatre.😆
Last movies which matched this criteria were Madras Cafe, Queen.
Next movie matching the criteria would be Ek Villain. And after that would be Bombay Velvet.
However, I did unfortunately end up watching Ready movie in the theatre because I went out with my friends and there was no other alternative that day. Then I decided not to go out to movies with my friends anymore.😆
Rest movies, I can wait long enough for the DVD to release and watch at home.

I might watch BV in theaters. Usually, i wait for DVD to watch Hindi flicks. I see 10-15 BW films per year anyway.

Oh and every time i watch a film in a theatre, 8 out of 10 times, i end up getting overwhelmed probably cos i go with my gang of friends and end up overpraising the film 😆😆 Happened with HTP..I still like the film..I think its a good one time watch but i remember telling my friend that its the best romcom ever and now when i retrospect, i dunno what made me say that 😆 Same thing happened with Rockstar too..I loved the promos and songs and forced my friends to watch it FDFS..I remember being horrified seeing the film and trying my best to praise it & make it seem like my friends were not intellectual enough to comprehend the awesomeness of the film..Theatres mess with your thinking ability..Bas 😆
