Shahid-PC in Ishqiya/Dedh Ishqiya director's next?

Talk of a fallout between Vishal Bhardwaj and his protg Abhishek Chaubey, and whispers that they would probably never work together again, spread like wild fire in the trade. It all started when Chaubey was seen meeting other producers. Later, we learnt that it was guru Bhardwaj who didn't want to produce for other directors anymore and concentrate on his own films instead. It was he who suggested that Chaubey start working with other producers.

Last week, we told you that Shahid Kapoor had been signed by Chaubey for his next. The film is titled Udta Punjab and will be produced by Phantom. The film is based on today's youth of Punjab. Our source also says the filmmakers have decided to approach Priyanka Chopra for the leading lady role.
