Annu Malik
Annu Malik, one of the judges on Sony TV's Indian Idol 3, had to be rushed to the hospital on Wednesday after he complained of chest pain.

The composer was shifted to the ICU of Nanavati Hospital.

On Wednesday the entire team of Indian Idol 3 was waiting for the composer at R.K.Studio, Chembur where they were shooting for the piano round. It was unusual for Annu to not report on time. When he did not show up for some hours the team was alarmed. The production house was informed that he was shifted to the ICU at Nanavati Hospital.

Annu was kept in the ICU for more than 24 hours. His condition is reported to be stable and he is now shifted to the general ward.

Annu was continuously shooting for more than 10 hours for the past few months. Before that he had to travel extensively throughout the country for the auditions too. Over-work and stress obviously took a toll on his health.

Malik is the only judge on the panel to continue in all the three seasons. He will not be able to shoot for the next few days. The absence of Annu Malik has wreaked havoc on the programming of the channel. For nine days continuously, from today, the show will be on air from 9 pm to 10.30 pm. and all the daily soaps have been pulled off-air for a week.
