I just saw Raanjhna in full, and I must say I was quite disappointed with Dhanush, maybe because he was overhyped on this forum?

I found his acting to be lackluster, his dialogue delivery was really bad, there were some really well written dialogues that he delivered weakly. Why do people like him so much? Maybe he is better in the South but his hindi debut was not that great. IMO Sushant is so much better.

And why does he look like he's homeless? And It has nothing to do with his skin color or anything, before you all start using the skin color card. I'm starting to believe what Sonam said - if you're not good looking people think you a good actor. IMO that's 100% applicable where Dhanush is concerned it was a strictly okay performance.

Does anyone agree with me or am I alone on this one?

Have a feeling he will suite in art house films then mainstream Bollywood films.

^^ that's just sick to say...

On topic, I loved Dhanush's acting... Every muscle on his face was expressive... He was the only saving grace in the whole movie... Every scene he enacted was superb, all the emotions he felt it came across to the audience... I think Dhanush is a bhandar of talent... Kudos...

Going by the history of this forum then you are going to be bashed a lot😆

Even though you not talking about his skin color then you will be still tagged racist and it is a crime to hate on him.

But I totally agree with you, I don't like his dialogue delivery or voice modulation.

Agree with you. I find Dhanush very very average. Nothing exceptional. Nor do I find anything attractive about him. He actually looks like a sadak chaap, who could be easily mistaken for a bus conductor in a normal crowd. There! I said it!

Rather, I would anyday prefer Suriya or Pritviraj over him. It has nothing to do with his colour or anything else. I just find him bleh and Ranjhana was a meh movie.🥱 (I know most in this forum won't agree with me)

And it has nothing to do with his looks either. Nawazuddin siddiqui is no good looker. But i would prefer him anyday over Dhanush.
