Tanveer faking it?
It would've been ground shocking to see a doppelganger of her arch nemesis and chief contender for Asad's love, Zoya. At least a gasp and dramatic widening of eyes would've sufficed before collecting herself and pretending. What with the dejavu and remorse she has been feeling upon her reentry, she would've thought Sanam was a vengeful spirit or ghost, or something Dickensian that way...
She could be faking it... while we go back and watch the episodes to see and look for proof (like the CSI and Bones generation we are) meanwhile the CVs can erase it all and do as they please.
