Her sagging career needed a boost! Kareena Kapoor's dull phase in Bollywood seems a thing of past as the actress is back in demand with some biggies vying for her dates.
After Shuddhi was put to the backburner, there was dearth of projects for Kareena Kapoor, giving her detractors a chance to write her off. However, the wheel of fortune has started turning, and the actress is now spoilt for choice when it comes to film offers.
It's learnt that a few weeks ago, she was offered Bejoy Nambiar's next to be produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and starring Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar.
A few days back, director Sujoy Ghosh of the Kahaani fame flew down to Goa to ask her to play the protagonist in his next, Durga Rani -- a movie which was earlier offered to Vidya Balan and then to Kangana Ranaut.
What's more! Kareena Kapoor has apparently also been offered Akshay Kumar-Prabhu Dheva's next, Singh is Bling, being produced jointly by Ashwini Yardi and Akshay. Though rumours have it that it's Katrina Kaif who is the top contender for the role, sources claim that Kareena Kapoor is also being considered for it.
However, the only problem is that all the movies will roll out around the same time. "All the three films which have been offered to Kareena have a plum role for her but they will all kick off in the last quarter of this year. She will be able to accommodate only two of them," a source is quoted as saying.
Currently, Kareena is working on Singham 2, and will soon take a call on her upcoming projects.
