"If you don't know, we have a test tomorrow on Organic chemistry! And all thanks to you Rey, I now have to waste my 3 hours to arrange the books." Taani yelled at him. Though Rey was shocked that a shy girl like her could shout and scared of this little cat with paws, he didn't show any crease in his face.

"Hey, hey little cat, calm down! Even if you don't study you're getting full marks and even if I study, I ain't getting no marks. The highest marks I have ever got in Chemistry are 3/50. Like c'mon, and the lowest marks you have ever got are 49.5/50. So CHILL." Rey explained to which Taani reverted by rolling her eyes.

"Yea, whatever. Don't you think it's high time you start studying?" Taani asked while picking up books from the floor.

"If you tutor me, I can consider studying, cat." He said winking.

"In your dreams, dog" She said smirking.

"Go keep this on the upper shelf." She said handing some books to Rey and balanced a steep ladder on the shelf.

"Hey the girl is supposed to climb the ladder and keep the books. Haven't you seen Hindi serials" Rey asked.

"Yea, so the girl falls in the guy's arms. Rubbish & Nonsense - is the word I have for it." Taani said arranging some more books.

"You're a girl no? You don't watch Ekta Kapoor's serials!! Heck, even I watch them" He said in a hushed whisper.

"I d...Wait! YOU WATCH EKTA KAPOOR'S SERIALS?!" And with that Taani burst out laughing.

He face-palmed mentally on his stupid mistake

Hell yes, he watched it just because his mom watched it. And he sat with her when she watched. This little secret of him had opened to a girl who just was a part of a hidden dare - well, more than that.

He climbed up the steep ladder to keep the books, and arranged them.

"Here take it." Taani said while handing him a book.

Thinking it to be a 200 gram weighted book he took it with one hand. And Taani literally banged the "Encyclopedia" on his hand. And that made him lose the balance and fall on top on Taani who was standing just below him. And well to be concerned about the 4 kg book (responsible for a perfect moment between them) it went flying in the air.

Eyelock - That's the word when you use for a couple who don't care about the world around them and they can stare for forever in one another's eyes.

A guy, Reyaansh Singhania, watching Ekta Kapoor's serials was actually living a typical Indian serial moment while a girl, Taani Shekhawat, who never believed in clich moments was lost in the moment. Their orbs met but the one responsible for this moment came back and hit Rey's head. Yea, the book - it made its comeback and hit hard on Rey. That actually made Rey stoop down low until he was near Taani's lips. But he was too much in pain to notice that. But as for Taani - she felt the whole zoo jumping in her stomach.

I tried some romance - and I realized that besides being bad at almost everything, I'm bad at writing romance too. So please bear with it, as I'm sure gonna try and improve.

Okay, the thread has crossed 100 pages (hoots, please.) and please make it reach the 150 mark soon.

And did I forget something? Yes, I did. For all those, who think that Rey watching serials is stupid, then I have only one answer. I wanted to show Rey as a character who has many shades of him - be it funny, stupid, bad or good. Dont you all like reading some different stuff about the character who's always shown as a bad boy turning good because he's in love? I advice, start reading different scenarios. 😳🥱
