CHAPTER 8

It was another day where all having finished another case were relaxing and having a coffee break in the lounge... Sakshi's idea again "hum kyun alag alag jagah baithe, ek saath nahi baith sakte kya?" And obviously, she being Sakshi, everyone agreed!

Arjun tried his level best to ignore her but his heart kept on tugging him towards Sakshi, her smiles were infectious... he dare say that he almost smiles at her jokes... the only reason being that unfortunately (for him) she makes sense while she jokes around, and that she is a very innocent and sweet girl... and hope she doesn't harbor anything much for him !

Sameer was thoda thoda trying to understand his feelings towards Ayesha but always blocked himself towards it thinking, " woh toh mujhe sirf dost samajti hai" aur phir like Krishna bhagvan Sakshi was speaking loudly as if no one was there about the type of guy Ayesha wants... and Sameer falling perfectly into the trap he kept his ears open, while Arjun just smirked inside seeing his friend's situation.

To spoil Sakshi's plan Arjun purposely spoke up

" Sakshi! Iss waqt case ke beech main yeh kya matrimony site jaise pak pak kar rahi ho, Ayesha ko kaisa ladka chahiya, Liza ko kaisa ladka chahiye... full detail nikal logi kya?"

Arjun turned to see Sameer's crestfallen face on not being able to hear Ayesha's likes.

Sakshi snapped up, fully prepared to throw a rocket launcher on him did she notice a small smile creeping up his lips when she realized he is joking " Oh toh sahab joke kar raha hai... wait DID HE JUST SMILE... DID HE JUST JOKE!!!!" so giving her trademark smile she looked at him.

" Mere taraf aise kyun dekh rahi hain, ab kya chal raha hain iski dimaag main?" he thought.

Whereas our dearest Samyesha and Shriza n Chotu were being silent witness of the eye to eye talk between Arjun and Sakshi...

" Arjun, first of all case khatam ho chuka hain, humara coffee break hain aur main itni bhi paagal nahi hoon ki case ke beech main tumhara matrimony site' chalu karu" Sakshi smiled at him

" Toh tum maante ho ke tum thodi paagal ho" he smirked back.

Oh that devil! "Sangad ka asar hain" she replied sweetly

Before Arjun could reply she added "aur tumhe kyun interest hain ki main kya bakoon ya na bakoon... kya tumhe bhi ek ladka chahiye?"

Sameer spitted out his coffee and coughing while staring at Sakshi "koun hai yeh ladki!"

Ayesha in a reflex action gently patted his back thinking " kaha se aayi hai yeh ladki!"

Chotu staring at Samyesha as well as Sakshi " Kya hai yeh ladki!"

Shree dropped his coffee on Liza and was trying to amend the situation before Liza does his live postmortem while both were thinking " yaar chodo, yeh ladki toh mare gi!" "Udi Baba" Shree said "Oh Jesus!" Liza thought

Three and a half weeks before

"Verma... why have you asked to give Rathore the same place as the our ETFian in Delhi? Obviously our order didn't get passed..." Kapoor shouted

"It will get passed in a week's time" Varun said solemnly

"I don't get it Verma! How the hell do you expect this to get passed when that other guy is still there?" Kapoor said, visibly pissed off.

"Kappy, get tht guy out of this... I have already sent his daughter out of station... with her to be husband... agar woh abhi nahi nikla toh kabhi nahi nikal paayega..." Verma said

"Par Verma, woh ek akhri link hai SIkandar tak!" Kapoor denied

"KAPOOR, lagta hai ke tum mere baat pe vishwaas nahi rakthe... cool... I think it's time you know exactly how Roshni Rawte died... listen... Arjun Rawte is damn intelligent and clever, one reason ki kyun I don't go too well with his name... kuch teen chaar saal pehle uske paas do se teen sources the jisne usko bohot madat kiya, teeno gumnaam the... shaayad koi ek Sikandar ke saath kaam karta tha, baaki do were totally silent.. ek ka shaayad mujhe idea hai...I'm not telling you cause it's not the right time aur teesra mere paas koi idea nahi koun hai voh... in short the first guy ko bohot asaani se Sikandar ke group main include hua...then he became a member...par ghalati yeh thi ki..."

"shaayad chaal Arjun Rawte ne nahi balki Sikandar ne chalai?" Kapoor asked

"exactly...joh link Rawte ne liya tha sochkar woh Sikandar ke paas jaayega...infact Sikandar used that link to trace down Rawte aur phir jab sab kuch mil gaya... woh link bhi gaya aur Roshni Rawte bhi... so do you get it? Tumhara aadmi itna jaldi Sikandar ke group mai accept hona... his life is at danger... usse nikaalo wahan se." Verma glared

"On my way to do it Verma..." Kapoor sighed "Shoot... how could I be such a fool! mujhe yeh sab..."

While Verma just walked out... stopped for a minute and said "Kappy...get out of here and we are not meeting for the next three days..." looking around Verma spoke up "shoot, niklo yaha se... kyunki parso se Sikandar humara peecha karega and we make sure that he gets frustrated..."

"I know what to do" Kapoor smirked and ran out off the building getting into a BST bus

"Pata nahi yeh buses aur Kappy ka kya rishta hai!

Ab dekhte hain Sikandar... tu kaise hume dhoondta hai!" Verma laughed and walked into a crowd...blending in...

"Sakshi!" Arjun flared

" Arrey ab maine kya kaha, tum na bohot distracting ho, main toh baithe baithe keh sakti hoon ke kisko kaisi type ka ladka chahiye!" She said as if she can predict the apocalypse!

Before Arjun could say anything further Chotu supported Sakshi and said "Toh bata ke...umm.. Ayesha ko kaisa ladka chahiye?"

"Oh toh yeh poori gang ka plan hai!" Arjun thought, though somewhere he was enjoying this.

" Hmm.. sochne do mujhe" Sakshi said dramatically

"Sakshi, itna sochne ke zaroorat bhi nahi hai, main khud bata sakta hoon ki Ayesha ko kaisa ladka chahiye" Arjun said while Sakshi replied

"Kya? Kiss type ka?"

Eyeing Sameer he said "ladka smart hona chahiye, intelligent, honest, gentle, achche mannerisms hona chahiye, very responsible, leadership quality, pehle uski dost phir pyaar, jo sentiments ko respect kar sakke... hai na Ayesha... ek aur cheez, south indian nahi hona chahiye, right?"

"Yes sir" Ayesha fumbled while staring at Arjun cause he just described Sameer "Maine aise yes kaise kehdiya! Chup kar, itni shy or perplexed kyun ho rahi hai, aisi react kar rahi hai as if Sameer just propsed you!"and she just smiled at that "OMG...am I like blush..."

Sameer was practically dancing in his mind, "Ayesha aisi ladke ko pasand karegi!" Just then Shree's phone rang with a song to give cherry on the cake!

Sakshi suddenly commented " Perfect gaana Shree!" Before her Sam bhai could murder her she quickly continued

"Haan Arjun you are right, but you forgot one thing"

"Kya?" Arjun looked and Sameer ka gana(mentally that song continued in his head!) pause main ho gaya

" Ke ladka main himmat aur guts bhi hona chahiye, ek toh pyaar ko samajna aur doosra apna pyaar izhaar karna, he should not be you know..."

" Fattu!" Arjun said while a small smile crept up, while Sameer stared back straight into his eyes.

Flashback

"Tu kya hai Sam, tera itni pyaari dost Roshni, usko bhi main hi legaya, class 10 se jo bhi ladki tujhe propose karne aati hain, woh mujhse ulta propose kar leti hai" Arjun sighed dramatically, not forgetting to plant a kiss on Roshni's cheek and keeping his chin on her shoulder and giving her a foolish smile!

" Arrey, besharam bhooke log, main yaha hoon aur tum dono... chee chee chee, kuch toh khayal karo, shaadi ab tak nahi hui par tum logo ki honeymoon mood shuru ho gaya! Aur tu RJ, main ek din propose karoonga, aur Roshni toh meri behen jaisi hai! Saale, mere saamne yeh kissi wissi chee chee chee, tujhe toh ek laath doonga main!" Sam scowled

"Oh pls Sammy, tu aaj tak ek makhi ko nahi maar paya! Sirf criminals ko maar sakta hai, u know jaan once sammy ek cockroach ko nahi maar saka, keh raha tha, rosh , iss bechare ne kya kiya? Can u believe it!" Roshni exclaimed, comfortable seated on Arjun's lap.

"Kuch naya bol Roshu, ya toh saare dost ko behen banate hai aur koi ladki pasand aayi toh yeh bhaagta hai usse, arrey baby iska kya hoga? Maine apna Sam ke shaadi karneka responsibility leya tha! Kya hoga? Waise bhi iske suhaagraat ka gaana mujhe pata hai!" Arjun jumped

" Ruko I will fall down! So what's the gaana?" Roshni asked

" Haan, kaunsa gaana?" Sam asked

Arjun slowly pushed Roshni away and stood at the corner of sofa and sang

"RJ ke bachche!" Sam roared running behind him

"Arrey mere bachche toh tab hi aayenge jab tu mere ghar se nikalke apne nayya paar kar de taaki mujhe aur Rosh ko free time mile! Warna tere rehte hue humaare vansh kabhi nahi badega!" Arjum screamed

"RJ" Sam running with knife behind Arjun

"Fattu!" Arjun and Roshni screamed together
