Kamla maa smiles when she hears a knock on the door, thinking that it must be Kalpi... She opens the door wondering where she must have gone this late in the night... Her smile falters as she looks at the person standing at the entrance... Not believing her eyes, she stares as she calls Vithal...
The person at the entrance smiles and says, "Aai, won't you bless us and tell us to come in", her voice snapping Kamla maa out of her daze, Kamla maa says ferociously, "Kalpana Jhadav, what is the...". Ragav takes a step forward and shakes his head as he interrupts Kamla maa by stating, "She is no longer Kalpana Jhadav, but Mrs Kalpana Ragav Singhania." He turns towards Kalpi as he finishes his statement, his gaze filled with love for her as he instinctively caresses her cheek smiling... It was a smile of satisfaction... Contentment.
Kamla maa looks at Raghav and Kalpi in disbelief, walks into the house shaking her head, sits on the sofa, turns towards Vithal her eyes brimming with tears and says with a slight tremble, "Vithal look what Kalpi has done... She has no shame... She doesn't even realise what she has done is wrong!" Kamla maa rests her head on Vithal's shoulder and says dejectedly, "I told her to stay away from him... Where did we go wrong? Why would Kalpi punish us like this?"
Kalpi looks at her aai in confusion and says,"Aai, what do you mean? I thought you would be proud of my decision."
Kamla maa looks at Kalpi angrily and says, "Proud? Is this some kind of a joke, Kalpi... Because it is definitely not the 1st of April today."
Kalpi smiles and says calmly, "Aai, I have done exactly what you would do."
Kamla maa and Vithal stare at Kalpi, unable to believe what they just heard. Angrily VIthal says, "Explain yourself", while Kamla maa looks on speechless.
Kalpi smiles reassuringly and says:
1) Aai whenever Neetu did us wrong, you always forgave her and told us to become the bigger person... I have done the same... I have forgiven Ragav.
2) Aai because of your love for Pakhi, even when she was in the wrong, you fulfilled her requests... I have done the same... Because of my love for Ragav, I fulfilled his request.
3) Aai you never take heed to our advice or request, you always do what you want... I have done the same... I did not heed your request and went to meet Ragav.
4) Aai you always do things and commit yourself to situations and then inform us... I have done the same... I got married and now am informing you.
5) Aai you found Ragav to be more in the wrong than The Kapoors, you value emotions above legal... I have done the same... I put Ragav's love for me above his court marriage to Pakhi.
6) Aai you welcomed the Kapoors into our life because you worked for them... I have done the same... I have welcomed Ragav into our lives because I work for him.
7) Aai you have raised me to be issstrong, to stand up and fight for myself... I did just that... I will fight for my love.
Kalpi looks at Kamla maa imploringly and says, "Aai I am your carbon copy... If you can do no wrong... Then how can I?"
Vithal scratches his head, looks at Kamla and says, " Kamla, Kalpi has a valid point... She has done everything you would do."
Kamla maa looks at Vithal and says, "oh no, Vithal I have always been wrong!"
