I quit watching QH after KSG left. And I started watching it again after Karanvir Bohra joined 😆
He plays naughty boy/grey/villainous characters very well. As for his looks...it's the hair...😆...I don't know if you've seen his previous drama (Dil Se Di Dua Saubhagyavati Bhava)...but he looks a lot better clean shaved and with a bit longer hair.
I agree; I think it might be the hair...but I actually think the facial hair suits him...
You can see a lot of touches of IPKKND in the new edition of QH.
I would you not get mad but i still have not watched IPKKND yet! I have not even watched the other Gul Khan drama.
But I haven't been able to complete warm up to Aahil. Giving him ASR's BG music doesn't make him measure up to the guy. Aahil is way too loose, and way too cocky for no reason. I could have overlooked all that if he hadn't cheated with the ladoo bit...I mean come on chore ke bhi kuch asool hote hain... 🤔
I like the looseness...I've known guys like him and the charm with these guys is that women like them because they have a personality that makes them likable...i hope to see that developed in this character...such a charm that he becomes irresistible...it is not looks but an ability to make people laugh and the writers have to work on developing this further...
Now the reason he did that was not that he was a chor but because he wanted to make sure that he could get Sanam to do her part and then get rid of her. he did not want to deal with her anymore - she was an annoyance...and that's what i welcome as a change in many dramas...most times the guy sees the girl and the first meeting is a long pause where the guy and girl stare at each other for half an hour and the audience is told...it is now love at first sight...this is SO boring...
If a love-hate develops that's fine...but over time what attracts to people is that they get along with each other...they actually talk about stuff and during that time they eventually find they like each other...they can bicker and argue all the time...but they like each other and do things for each other...that's what makes a good jodi...
What I do love about the new QH are the girls...Sanam and Haya.
While I never warmed up to Zoya (couldn't stand her, and never understood how Asad did)...I absolutely love Sanam. She's just the perfect combo of her parents.
And I'm totally fascinated by Haya...the actress is doing such a good job emoting without any dialogue... 👏.
i was discussing that with my sister; sanam has grown on me faster than zoya. while i did like zoya, the writers destroyed the character by presenting her as an excessively rude individual and confidence does not equate the rudeness. i find the writers need to introduce some humor into sanam's personality - a wit that is missing. i like her determination and self-confidence. haya is fine and the actress to me is mediocre...but a lot better than a lot of these new actresses that come on the scene.
the key of making a strong female lead is to make this a person whom you want to be friends with...someone who is a good listener and is someone with whom you want to engage in strong conversation...a stimulating individual...unfortunately, that's often missing in many of the female leads on Indian television. it does not have to be forced or unreal...
So I watch with eager interest, to see what fate and Gul Khan has in store for these 2 young girls...the heroes so far are not so impressive...just my POV.
