Yup, this exchange was actually inspired by that excerpt. The "I can't give up on on forgiveness" bit was pretty much copy-paste.

I do not think that it could have been easy for him to sit through that game, I feel it must've been painfully difficult to suppress himself in favor of his misidentified dharma in that situation so I wanted to get that across. and yes, I wasn't sure about continuing before but now I am, and I will :D I have a plan for a few places in the epic where they could have conversations like this, will hopefully get the next one done by Friday.
