I wasnt watching the serial for a while but can somebody explain why ipshita is not with anupam in London and what is she doing here

Ipshita is still with Anupam. Anupam met with an accident and is now a handicap, because of which he distanced himself from Ipshita. She too started focussing on her work. She came to India for her book release where she met Shiv. They havent shown Anupam after the leap, but Ipshita mentions him on and off.
