Aaj ki do baat (May 29)

1. I am not surprised with the constantly dropping TRPs. The story has nothing new or fresh to tell. So far it is going the expected route as far as TV shows go. Plus a lot of the supporting cast is worst than extras. They cannot act, neither do they have an interesting back story to keep the audience hooked. And leads can only take the story so far. What they need right now is some drama, dhamaka and Razia.

Trp queen is back, but without her patner kuch maza nai aa raha jub tak tanu n razia both ring mai nai houn en faltu's ki nutanki dakhni padhe ge

Let's see where the TRP goes now that Tannu is back...

Hey Rivs... longtime... how are you?.. im in the same boat as you and agree with you.. there is nothing much in the story and i am now just seeing QH because it has become a habit.

SaHil story looked better when Sanam was in Panjab and when they met but after Sanam's move to Aahil's house everything between them looked forced and there is nothing unique like AsYa.

The only thing i am intrigued now is about Haya and Rahat... i hope they handle Haya- Rahat story well.

And hope they introduce some twists and turns soon.. otherwise it will become a real bore.

Totally agree with you on the falling TRPs. Just Junoon cannot bring in the TRPs. The supporting cast, story, characters also add to it making it a complete package. Right now the ensemble cast is pathetic and I don't see improvement tbh.

I've liked all SaHil scenes so far but as you said I'm also a bit surprised about Sanam staring at Ahil esp after Ahil being such a big jerk the previous day... in fact bigger than he ever was. I mean I know that the staring sessions will start sometime but didn't expect it right now from Sanam when Ahil has played football with her self respect.

Tannu and Nazia have a plan and I think Shazia is actually going to be the good girl eventually. Nazia is just wearing some kinda good girl naqaab as per Tannu's instructions. Hence Shazia's comment that day about Nazia being too good to be true.

i agree rivs sahil alone can't run the show aahil family is so silly not worth watching i big minus for qh 2 i mean imagine shazia nazia khala khalu ahzar all r waste🤢

Anu i have the same feeling it will be Shazia who ultimately will turn out to be good. Shazia doesn't trust anyone because she must be having some reason.
Sanam staring at Aahil and that whole Dupatta scene i didn't like.. even in QH1 dupatta scenes i never liked as its something so over used in Hindi serials... any way rather than staring sessions and Junoon moments in every epi, story should pick up.. and i guess whats needed between SaHil right now is some atypical nok joks with humour.. they started with intensity and that period is over with Sanam breaking the bottle..
One thing lacking in QH2 is humour... for which Latif alone is not enough... but he can be used as a means to bring some Humour between SaHil as well.😊

I think she's just staring at him because he was wearing indian clothes and he is not in western look.

As far as humour goes with SaHil I think the characterisation is such that there's no place for humour right now IMO. SaHil is an egoistic, jerk who treats Sanam like dirt. Sanam is an independent, hardworking girl with self-respect. There's always tension between them. We can probably expect something from Sanam though but not Ahil. The situations can be humourous but it totally depends on the CVs. Even before Sanam met Ahil she didn't really have too many humorous dialogues. Even her expressions and reactions were not funny though cute. QH1 had a lot of the humour between AsYa which came mostly from Zoya becoz of her character with Asad playing a supporting role. Rishabh was a bad actor with good comic timing. His scenes with SJ were quite funny.

You are right about the supporting cast bringing in some humour. But they are such bad actors that the humour falls flat. Tbh Lateef hasn't impressed me and his dialogues are jaded now. Azhar has really funny dialogues and could've been a fantastic humorous character if played by a better actor with better expressions and dialogue delivery. I don't find Khala Khalu humorous at all. In fact all attempts at bringing in humour have been pathetic. They haven't even brought a smile on my face. In fact I get irritated every time I see the Ibrahim family members. Not a single impressive character or actor. Sigh!

i agree with you.. both Aahil and Sanam are character wise serious and so they cannot act humorous... what i meant was just like you said situations can be introduced which are humorous with Sahil in the middle of it..
yea latif isn't good but he could be polished i feel.

Azhar the actor who plays is really hopeless as you said..

And khaal - khaalu at times irritates me more than Tanveer did in QH1.

i guess we shouldn't compare but i cannot help it.. QH1 was a complete package in every way.. Each character was really unique and the actors who portrayed them equally good. And the story had everything - romance , humour, fun, suspense, emotional moments and even horror about which now i don't want to complain.😆
