Hrithik escapes car accident!!

The news that Hrithik Roshan was involved in car accident on Monday night while he was on the way to Karjat has his fans worried.

But Hrithik is just fine. So says his father Rakesh Roshan. "Yes there was an accident. Nowadays Hrithik is shooting nights in Karjat for Ashutosh Gowariker's Jodha-Akbar.

At around 9.30 pm Hrithik was in the backseat of his car when the car behind him bumped hard into our car. And then before Hrithik and the driver knew what was happening, a truck from behind hit both Hrithik's car and the car that had bumped into it."

Quite a slapstick filmy situation!

"Yes," laughs Rakesh. "Fortunately Hrithik was completely unhurt. Even the car got away with just a few scratches. It's a very strong car…for a very strong family," he quips.
