Dear Friends

Please help me understand:

Shouldn't the Mangal Sutra & Sindoor be blessed during a religious ceremony for these to hold all their meaning?

Doesn't the saat janam wala wedding really take its full meaning only after the saat phere have been taken?, holding God & guests as witness?

In my mind, if a woman just buys a mangal sutra and wears it, without even having the husband making her wear it at least for the first time, it is nothing more than just a chain

If a woman buys some sindoor and the husband does not make her wear it for the first time, it holds the same meaning as wearing some powder pn the cheeks and nothing more

So am just amazed & bewildered when I see the drama that Paakhi & Kamla are making about the power of the mangal sutra & the sindoor...when these have not yet been blessed nor has Raghav has made her wear these!!!

But I guess PD and her boss just do not care about these technicalities!!

Raghav will wear wedding chain and sindor to kalpi.so it's all for kalpi.

even i found it worthless

MG and sindoor dont hold true till they r religiously put.

all lecture of dadi and kamla r worthless

i knwo what it means but torturing us just coz u wore it to show i am married is something new

whom r cvs fooling anyways ...lol

CVS failed 2 depict wat is marriage in show, as xpected

They made marriage a JOKE

Is any of them really married ritually in real life???

bcoz importance of mangal sutra n sindoor is all due 2 ritual performed during marriage

First in agni kund, Fire , ahutiyaas r given 2 call all the god forms 2 witness the marriage n bless the married couple, then god bcum witness of mangalsutra putting n sindoor putting ocassion n bless dat sindoor n mangalsutra, this gives mangalsutra n sindoor their importance,
