Rudra has always been Parvati's protector. He has always protected her from physical harm.
Today he hesitatingly took a crying Paro in his arms. It was not a man hugging his wife, it was a protector, a guardian taking the hurting and weeping soul under his protection and reassuring her that he will not let anyone come between them. He was protecting her innocence and purity from the onslaught of a betrayal of her trust.
And then the tables turned.
In the next scene on the terrace, Paro became the protector. She became the guardian, standing and unwavering, caring for the shattered child, hearing him out, singing to him and soothing his pain. She soothed him like a mother soothes her weeping child. She allowed him his space and did not compel him. She let him open up to her of his own will.
Today Rudra and Paro took their relationship to a new level of understanding and trust.
They assured each other that they will take care of and fill in for each others insecurities.
Rudra's maturity in worldly matters and physical strength is much needed to protect Paro's purity and innocence.
Paro's maturity in understanding of relationships and emotional stability is like a cool breeze needed to sooth Rudra's fiery and disturbed mind and help him come to terms with his dark past.
They both need each other and now understand each other perfectly.
The foundation of their relationship is now set on stone, now they can build a beautiful castle of love, trust, giving, sharing and caring.
Loved the show today. The actors were fabulous. The hug and the terrace scenes were the few of the most beautifully enacted scenes I've seen on TV. Kudos to the leads Sanaya and Ashish for delivering such an emotionally stirring episode.
