Its such a sad thing to say but its an universal truth. A woman can become daughter, sister. mother or even a wife all at a same time but what she forgets is that she is a woman first. Sakshi failed as a mother, a wife and also as a woman. The whole city is at her command but she cannot control the two most important men in her life. At times, I really pity her. Successful at professional front but a big failure at personal front. Her son is going to destroy her eventually.

@ Debby. And why isn't a man always tagged as son, brother, father and husband. Women are defined by their roles with respect to the men in their society. Why can't they just be individuals.

There's another line I really liked. When Nitya said to the police commissioner that "kal aapki beti ke saath bhi aisa ho sakta hai". ANd he says
" Never. Ek police commissioner aur ek driver ki beti mein bahut farak hai."
And then Durga says something like "At the end of the day ek police commissioner aur ek driver ki beti mein zyada farak nahin hai.

Absolutely agree with you, as well as the dialogue said by Nitya. It is true that a woman is another woman's worstest enemy...
