ekta's message.... ?

hey everyone,

i jst saw some bits of koffee with karan with ekta and there is one scene where she says that if we dont like her shows then we shuldnt watch them!

when i heard that i indirectly felt concerned by it! i mean we all here say we dont like KS anymore etc etc etc... lolz but we still watch it (however the reason is...) !! i just wanted to point out that... i hope i didnt make u confused! lolz

I felt that she was arrogant and showed complete apathy to the viewers. Just because the show is making money that doesn't mean it's perfect. Viewers have a right to expect the best from the shows and actors, if they are denied this right, she will lose the viewership and people will move on to greener pastures...

I am eagerly looking forward to the greener pastures, but alas! nothing better on Indian TV, so we are still watching KS because we got hooked on to it because it was good once upon a time!

you say to a person not to watch it.. what do you do.. Watch it 😆

but she has a point.. if you dont like her shows.. dont watch it.. simple.. 😉

but then again out of habit people say they hate something but still do it.. 😆

Very arrogant statement when in fact she do need an audience, what does she believe,even if no one watches her shows she would be successful on her own, the best movie producers cannot be successful without an audience so that is pure and simply stated arrogance and that is an insult to her fans who she is saying to us put up and shut up.

sheena_row and sammi yuo are right but henna 786 ,s point is also considerable if we don,t like her show we shud not see.but at least we shud have an oppurtunity to crticise any show.

all opinions are true, i also agree. but dont' you think many soaps, be it western or indian (as she also mentioned) is like that. You have to see Bold and the beautiful and other soaps, its all the same.

Only sitcoms are different, mostly comedies. you have to remember ektha does only soaps, not sitcoms. from her pov, she is right, another point she mentioned was, she caters to the masses not the upper-crest, we can also twist around the statement a little bit and say "the upper-crest of people which includes the educated and the intelligent" as many of us here. people put up with so many bloopers also, isnt' it..?

so, all she means is, she is making millions, if we dont' like it dont' watch and get a life...ha..ha..!! loads of attitude... what can we do about it, hey..! she is the boss...!!
