Can some1 tell me whats the big deal with ek villain?

Nothing against the movie, nothing against the stars. The trailer looks good. But can some one explain...

I have seen a lot of buzz of this movie. I can't understand the reason. The stars are not so big. Sid M is still not that bankable. Ritesh has been in the industry for very long and is not successful. The movie is not based on any book, neither it is remake of any blockbuster.

So why is everybody so excited for this movie?

Once again, nothing against anybody or anything, just can't understand the reason.

I love sid,I'm loving sid-shraddha chemistry..Ritesh is acting as villain for a change..For a long time,i have not seen bad guy love story + i love romantic thriller and i love the songs especially galiyaan by shraddha..

These r my reason to get excited for the movie..I don't knw abt others

Great so the movie is predictable no point in even seeing it.

Is there Buzz really? Thank God! I thought only few of us in Ek Villain Thread were creating buzz for the movie.😆

There's no big deal for the movie. Its just another movie which some of us are really excited for. It seems to have a good story, Mohit Suri directs movies well, if you've seen his previous movies. Plus, two beautiful and absolutely gorgeous people are paired up with each other, which is a rarity.

And I love the whole idea of bad guy as the hero.

The last time i checked this was a forum to discuss movies. If I have some questions I will ask. How does the jealousy part come in? If I want to be jelous of anybody why would i be jelous of Sid M? I would be more jelous of Ranbir or Ranveer because those guys got everything, looks, acting skills, personality, most desirable girlfriends and superstar status.

I have twice said in my OP that nothing against anybody, still I get responses like this.
