There is no problem between Imran and me, says Karan Johar

At the function to launch the trailer of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, producer Karan Johar clarified that there was no problem between him and actor Imran Khan who had last acted in Dharma Productions Gori Tere Pyar Mein.

According to reports Karan had blamed Imran for the dismal fate of Gori Tere Pyar Mein and the two had squabbled over it. So much so that Imran had offered to return the paycheck for Gori Tere Pyar Mein.

Karan Johar clarified that there was no problem between him and actor Imran Khan. Rubbishing all such reports, Karan today said, "Imran and I have been close friends. He has also been a professional associate of our company. In fact, Imran's wife Avantika and I are close as well." He added, "Avantika is expecting a baby. I wish her all the best for a smooth journey. Yes, I did not go for Avantika's baby shower but that was a function primarily for women."

When told that Imran was upset because he had not wished him on his birthday, Karan said, "The person who made such allegations, obviously does not know Imran. I think all of us are very mature people. Not wishing somebody on Twitter or such is not something any of us places a lot of importance on."

Karan Johar celebrated his 42nd birthday bash two days ago. While a lot of known names came to wish the Dharma Productions head, Imran Khan was not present on the occasion.

so he didnt wish imran and avantika
not working with imran
is a fair decision professionally
but not wishing the couple is not nice
as a friend he should have
by wishing i dont mean twitter but over the phone
or a sms.
imran is not in twitter so tweeting makes no sense.

The only thing that come out of this article is that as a gay man kjo don't like go to women functions.. I mean most gay men love that but ya.. Not kjo..

When was the last time we saw some celeb posting a god-bharai tweet? According to some old Deepika fans, Deepika was a very good friend of Imran. Did Deepika send a tweet wishing Imran & Avantika on Avantika's god-bharai day?
