"In cafe near the college in half an hour."Told Taani to him and chucked the call.
She was walking to and fro outside the cafe impatiently. She was looking elegant and charming in her black legging and a pink sleeveless top. Though she know that Rey will not break his promise, but still, a fear was there in her heart which she want to clear after talking to Rey. She wants to clear every doubt she has in her heart.
After half an hour, his car was standing in front of the cafe. He came out of the car dressed decently in a grey dress shirt and black pant with a matching tie. He remove his pair of sunglasses and held it in his hand. His hairs were neatly gelled up in a decent hairstyle. He was looking dignified in his formals, indeed.
She was left spellbound for a moment by his looks. She was looking at him without a blink. He came towards her and snapped in front of her eyes. She came back into the real world in just a moment.
"You wanted to meet me?"Asked Rey confusingly.
"Haan...Woh actually...I wanted to say..."She was stuttering badly.
He was completely understanding her internal disorder. He could understand that she is feeling uncomfortable.
"Lets go inside, then we'll talk."He said to her.
She nodded her head and they walked inside the cafe and sat on a table in the corner.
"I think I disturbed you. I guess you were in office?"Asked Taani looking at the table.
"Yes I was in office. I joined my office last week."Told Rey to her.
"I am sorry. Actually I didn't know."Taani said with a glimpse of embarrassment in her eyes.
"It's okay. Anything for y.."He stopped in between. His words died before he could say them in front of her.
"What should he say? Anything for you? But why? What is the meaning of saying all this? Queries are uncountable, but the answer is only one, SHE DOES'NT BELONG TO YOU REY. SHE IS JUST A RESPONSIBILITY ON YOU. SHE IS WITH YOU JUST FOR THREE YEARS. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT ON HER EVEN IF YOU LOVE HER MORE THEN ANYTHING."Someone from inside him scolded him. HE can't tell her how much he love her.
"Rey."Her voice brought him back to the real world.
"Huh..Haan."Said Rey totally startled.
"Are you okay?"Asked a concerned Taani.
He didn't know why, he felt good when she asked him with so much concern. He so wished her to be with him forever. He soon jerked away his thoughts and concentrated on her.
"Rey...actually I wanted to say...I mean..I..."She was again stuttering. May be because of his impressive and attractive personality.
"Look Taani, I know you are not comfortable with me, but you don't need to be hesitant. You can easily express your feelings in front of me."Said Rey to ease her discomfort.
"In simple words, I want to ask you that, are you sure you are able to take this responsibility over your shoulders? I mean, I know this is not easy at all, this is not the matter of only our lives, your family also have some expectations with you, with your marriage. I know how much they will feel bad when we'll get apart. Please think once about them, not about your friendship only."Said Taani.
This time she didn't hesitate in expressing her feelings. Just because of the words he spoke to her, to decrease her distress.
He exhaled a deep breath as he heard her. He was listening her carefully with his hands joined with each other and his elbows above the table.
"I know Taani, everything is not easy. I know my family have many expectations with my, with my wedding, but I know they will understand everything when I'll declare the truth in front of them. And I know that you have some fears in your heart, you have fear ABOUT ME. But I promise you, You'll get free after Rohan's return whenever you want. I will not use my any right on you."Answer Rey in a serious tone.
"Undoubtedly, he knows the skill to read the mind of a person."This is the first thought that came in her mind after listening to his last words. She was just preparing words in her mind to ask about that, and he cleared everything.
"I am sorry Rey. We are getting trouble for you. You know, you are the best person I have ever met in my life."Taani said with her eyes fixed on the table.
"Leave it Taani, there is no use of saying all this. Chill."Said Rey in his casual tone.
"Sir, order please."Asked a waiter with a paper and a pen in his hands.
"One black coffee and one regular coffee with less sugar."Ordered Rey.
"How do you know I like regular coffee with less sugar?"Asked Taani surprisingly. Her eyes were wide then usual.
"Rohan usually tells me about your likes and dislikes."He said a lie.
How could he tell her that he always try to do everything according to her taste. He knows her likes and dislikes more then her own self.
Soon the waiter served them their coffee. They left the cafe after having their coffee. They both were walking silently towards their cars.
Taani walked silently towards her car while Rey was talking with his assistant on his cell. She was present there absentmindedly. She was brought back to the real world by the voice of whistle. She looked in the direction of the voice and found there some scamps with their piercing eyes on her. They came close to her and stood around her by making a circle. Rey was standing with his back towards them so he couldn't see them. Taani passed them a glare with full of anger.
"Leave my way RIGHT NOW." Taani said chewing every word under her breath.
"If we didn't leave, then?"One of the guy said with his cheapest smile.
Saying this he gets hold of her hand making her red. Now, it was difficult to differentiate between anger and embarrassment. At the same time, Rey turned to see her if she was there or not. The scenario in front of him was out of his tolerance. He hastily came towards them and in just a minute he was standing in front of them.
"Leave her hand!"Rey exclaimed angrily.
"Listen guy, this is not your matter, so, leave our way."A guy said in a strict voice.
"I said LEAVE HER HAND!"Rey said stressing the words. Fury and rage were visible in his eyes.
"Why do you bother about her so much? Who is she for you? Your GIRLFRIEND, your WIFE or anything ELSE?"Other spoil brat shooed his words.
"SHE IS MY WOULD BE WIFE! I think this relation is enough for you!"Said Rey to them and freed her hand from his. He slightly jerked her and she came in his embrace. He wrapped his hand around her petite figure.
Her eyes widened as he said "SHE IS MY WOULD BE WIFE!" to them. A new sentiment of protection, a new sensation of security was there in his embrace. The moment he took charge on her, his reverence in her heart increased. They all ran away when they saw his personal guards with rifles in their hands. He let her go as soon as they vanished away from his sight.
"Are you okay, Taani?"He asked her in a concerned accent.
"Yes, I am fine, thank you so much Rey."Taani said him with a grateful look.
"No need to say thanks. It was my responsibility."Said Rey as a grin touched his lips.
"Let's move now. Its getting late now. May I drop you?" Asked Rey with a little scruple in his voice.
"No, I have driver with me, I'll go. Thank you."She said with a gentle smile.
He nodded and they both left from there. He was restless, but she, she was now peaceful.~*~
