it was the guy presenter again...loved todays episode was abit different the theme was writers special š
They said serials had alot of peoples hand in its sucess the main people however are the writers.
The writers come up with the concept first then base the story on that then next comes script š
SBS then talked to alot of writers again i dont know names since they wrote them in hindi underneath but will write what they said.
They said that the TV is all a writers media and if the theirs no strong script the serial does not work, most of the time actors tend to take credit for the show ...one writer said that people remeber what is said and the actor but not the person behind it i.e the writer. Then another writer said that satisfaction is in seeing the story/script playing out well on screen.
Writers have to work in different situations and have to change script at a last minute because of timing they have very short time some writers talked about their experiances. They said that TV audiences taste have changed and when they write they keep trps and audience in mind also that TV is more about drama now.
Then they talked about comedy serials talked to different people say that its inportant to find new gags every day and once a gags been done they cannot be done again. Also a 3rd eyes needed to see the comedy in situations.
Shows ideas was next segment they talked about some serials that were unique jassi came up , kshum and kahani. They said script has to be unique for the serial to do well and cannot survive without a strong script.
Reference to ramayan and mahabarat is often made in many shows they said which is true!
Some serials that did well were Tara (šgod i remeber that years ago! ) then buniyad , the Bold and beautiful , Kahani ghar ghar ki and kyunki saas bhi which started off a new phase š also serials like astitva ek prem kahani š and justjoo.(made by same people) They named serials that dont work .
In app ku pehle bhi kahi dekha hai was priya who was in platform her real names diska chopra she changed it because people in mumbai never understood her name. She was in serials like kahani and sarkar.
