"Sanyukta" Sameer raised his hand.
There she stood frozen as ice, eyes filled with horror. Was this the life ahead of her?
There are instances were you feel broken, but here today she died from within , she was a mass that occupied a minute space in this world. Did anyone care for her?
"Who do you think you are?Be a woman" Sameer said with his fists clenched now.
Meanwhile,Randhir reached the Lab. He had been worried ever since she'd left . Sameer had fooled Parth and Kaustuki into believing that he was okay with her pursuing an engineering course after marriage.
Randhir knew Sameer , she'd never be safe with him . For the first time in his life his mind lost to his heart by a large margin.
And the scene that he witnessed shattered him . Sameer slapped Sanyukta.He felt like a villain today.Anger bubbled in his veins and he started towards Sameer, and punched him, punched him till he started bleeding, he had to kill this useless prick for hurting her , he had to.
"Randhir,tum isse jante nahi"Sameer tried saying before another punch attacked his bruised face.
"I'll kill you" is the only thing he heard Randhir say.
Sanyukta stood there motionless. Who was Randhir?She would never understand him. How did her pain matter to him , isn't that what he wanted throughout. Tears flowed down her face. She felt so hopeless.
"Stop Randhir . Just Stop" She screamed.
He instantly stopped. Taking this as an advantage Sameer ran out .
"Khush?You saw that? Yes , I stood there like a weakling. You see this?" She showed the impression of Sameer's hand on her face.
"This is what you wanted. But now I don't feel bad at all , I feel lifeless. I'm not going to steel your phone,irritate you. Because I've fallen today. I'd rather have me slapped"
"Forgive me ..forgive me" he sunk to his knees , crying.
"Don't be sorry. This is my life and you should be happy , you've gotten your rid off your competitor.It doesn't matter to me anymore" she said .
"Sanyukta, just once ,listen to me . I don't deserve to be forgiven. I won't show my face to you ever again"
She didn't say a thing.
"I'd die seeing you like this. In fact I am. I don't want to be forgiven. But just don't do this to yourself. I'll die. I'm being selfish , but it's an inherent personality. I don't want to lose you , especially not now. I've lost everything , my mom, my dad, my childhood, my friends and I can't afford losing my love..Just be you, I'll leave .Stay this way . I see a beautiful me in you , keep that.. I have to leave." he could never eloquently describe the love he had for her.A lone tear betrayed his eyes.
He stood up , looked at her and turned to leave and momentarily stopped before leaving and headed toward the exit.
"I'm not done Randhir. You can't always have it your way."
"You know what Randhir, when I first entered engineering , I'd never been this strong. You gave me the strength to fight my weaknesses.I thought you'd fight and get me back today. Because Randhir you make me feel alive. Please don't give up on me now. You ARE an MCP, but you're my MCP . I've fought too much and now I'm tired. And all I need is a little bit of you"
"Sanyukta, don't be a fool , DO not be a fool" he said .
"You know what I am. I'm a selfish ego maniac. I'm not the good guy, remember? Because I make bad choices that hurt you. I'd rather leave right now than hurt you further and lose you. Because that's who I am , and I'm not going to change. And there is no apology in this world that encompasses all the reasons that I'm wrong for you. And I'm not sorry for this Sanyukta , I'm not."
"I'm not sorry either. If I had chosen differently I wouldn't have met you. And I'm not sorry that I met you. I'm not sorry that knowing you has made me question EVERYTHING . You've been a TERRIBLE person. I've made all the wrong choices , and of all the choices I've made this'll prove to be the worst one , BUT I'M NOT SORRY , that I'm in love with you"she said sounding stronger than ever.
"I love you , Randhir" she finished.
"There are a million reasons why we shouldn't be together..." Randhir tried arguing .
"But I'm tired of all of them" she said inching closer to him.
"I love you"
They kissed like they'd never be a tomorrow , for all that they'd been through , for all that they'd felt , the jealousy , the pain , the animosity and more importantly the passion .
