We already touched this subject many times in past but one more time again. I am trying to see the similarities between pre-leap story and current story line. Arjun loved Purvi pre leap and now here we have Naren and Pari! Circumstances forced marriage of Arjun and ovi and here we have Naren and Ankita getting married due to once again circumstances beyond their control. Ovi and Ankita both got pregnant. Ovi finally stepped out of marriage to make Ajun-Purvi happen once again. Here Ankita is stepping out to make Naren happy with Pari! Seems like groundhog day movie to me. And of course no prize for guessing who Dr. Onir's character is in current story. By this time we all know it is poor Shekhar.

At a superficial level it looks similar. But there are a lot of differences in the circumstances, settings and the reasons behind the characters for taking certain steps. In this track, so far, they are all victims of circumstances and no one side can actually be blamed. One feels sympathetic for all the 3 characters, and Shekhar as well. I think that's enough of a difference.

Frankly, I find it very different.

I hate cvs for lost in their creativity.

There may be some similarities but why...why????

This is the reason people lose their interest in the show & its not b'coz of the time slot.

A good story would work no matter what time slot is given to it.

I think Arjun-Purvi and Ovi were in a different situation and it just got ruined because the CVs stretched it to no end. They could have done a lot of things different in the last generation. It did start with a bang and all the characters, Arjun, Purvi, Ovi, Teju were sketched out perfect.

I feel the same for the current storyline and I think it is different from last generation and also from the common storylines. And again all actors are doing a great job. I am just hoping the CVs dont ruin the storyline by one person sacrificing and all 4 crying and whining for the rest of the time. They should show how the 4 deal with the situation they are in unfirtunately, and do what is in the best interest of all. It is very hard to move on but it is definitely not impossible.

@TM sorry to disagree with you but i dont find any similarity here except for the fact that here two girls are so called sisters.

the situation is quite different here.

in the second generation , all four characters were at fault . although i am not a onir fan but still i felt that he was a bit more sensible than arvi and ovi , thats why he took the correct decision at correct time but he also made some mistakes. everybody ruined their life and cried . out of the four arvi were the most foolish and weak ones , yes i am saying that being an arvi fan. the stupid sacrifical decisions and the dumbness they showed ruined their lives forever. ovi took a lot of time to accept the reality and move on. so you see everyone destroyed themselves

but in this situation naren has mental problem and now memory loss . so till now he is not the correct person to take a decision until he gets to know about everything that happened with him. pari wants to move on and is helping ankita to cure naren , she is a strong headed person till now. ankita is trying a lot to handle this akward situation . shekhar is a support system for pari and may help her too. not to forget there are evil vamps like rushali , kinnari, rounak, nina etc who can do any harm to these four. there will be a lot of twist and turns for anken to reunite .

as you have arvi ovi topics are always a heated thing here. some people will not debate here , but will take the golden opportunity to bash arvi here . so i just hope that this thread remains safe and upto the topic without fanwar and close up with a mods note. all the best

The only similarity between Ankita - Naren - Pari and Arjun - Purvi - Ovi is that Ankita - Pari and Purvi - Ovi were sisters..
Otherwise the tracks r different..
