how these Jai Ho jokes were received by the audience?

I didn't watch Jai Ho in cinema hall. When i watched the movie on DVD, I was shocked at some of the jokes. How can these be appropriate?

Daisy Shah calls Salmaan's nephew chote chuiye. We find out its because she saw him bathing. I was like man. Making fun of kid's willy. If this wasn't enough salmaan asks him if he was taking a bath with cold water or hot water. Epic face palm.

Now at this point Sohil Khan thought, if we are ducking up, lets duck up in a epic way. So we see another small kid pointing out colour of daisy shah's inner clothes. In the rest of the movie daisy shah is made fun of using that particular joke.

I know. I haven't seen the full movie. But these dialogues and scenes were absolutely unnecessary and inappropriate.

most hilarious and W*F scene was when sunil shetty brings an army tank to save salman khan😆

a lot of scenes in that movie that will make a even a person with 0 IQ scratch his head.

Geneliia one tops the list. On one hand she doesn't back off after loosing her hands but failing an exam which can be retaken again makes her commit suicide. Her brother, who can never make the exam on time. Apparently they don't know how to factor in mumbai traffic in their commute.

People running when Salman Khan is hitting mukul dev. I mean there were like 400 people on mukul dev's side yet all went running like crazy. Police didn't do anything even after having a gun. Yet mukul dev didn't do anything to police.

After the CM gets shot, instead of taking him to hospital directly, they take him to some run down place. After all last action sequence looks good in run down places only.

They send people to kill Salman Khan, but not with gun but sticks. I mean 20people running with sticks towards salman khan and salman khan is shooting them one at a time. People dying yet others are running. What the duck.

Salman Khan hits mukul dev once again inside Danny's home with so much security around.

Danny's family identify that salman khan is dangerous when angry. So what they do is send a truck to kill his mother to make salman khan more angry.

Defence minister gets promotion if terrorist attacks happen. Instead of being criticised, forced to resign he will be worshipped.

Danny will mercilessly kill the person who went to do a mere FIR which can be easily handled by the lawyers and even the police at the lowest level possible but will take the matter very lightly when his son in law is beaten in front of public, party members, police station making his whole family a laughing stock.

Kids size clothing will be loose to a fat girl like Daisy Shah.

Sunil Sheity will leave abandon his post and put the whole nation in danger because he has a gut feeling that Salman is right. He will have no idea what the matter is, whats the story, who are involved.

CM will ask danny to make peace with Salman khan. Instead of directly killing salman khan, lets call both of them and kill the CM instead. Also CM travels no where with security.

how this movie didn't win oscars is beyond me
