Seems anandi has control over Jagya and his actions. The way she reminded him of his duty towards his supporters.

Noticed that gehna, ganga, sumitra discrded their heavy jewellery as a mark of mourning for the jailed dadisa. Hope anandi follows them in this .

I hated that new PA who looked like a seductress than a PA. Is she the menaka to seduce the Vishwamitra? Will she make sexual harassment complaint against shiv?

Anandi's so called control comes from the fact that she understands him much better.

We may not like sanchi, but the mother's interference in her life is quite realistic and relatable.

I also like anandi's role as an agony aunt in sanchi's life and how Jagya respects her words.

Only thing I am disturbed about is how anandi was trying to wake up gulli who is in coma. I think Jagya and ganga should have handled this matter in a medical way than an emotional outburst. It is sad to see ganga reduced to a mere shadow. Here was a golden opportunity for ganga to do something.


At the most dadisa would have spent some more time in the jail or the defence lawyer could have demolished the prosecution by some more intelligent argument.

They have shown Jagya after trying everything on Gulli he too was shown trying to wake up Gulli with his emotional pleas

Why the haveli people cant handle their lives by themselves? Even Bhairon is reduced to a mere shadow.

His dadisa only indulged every wish of his and his parents only tried to curb his tendency to go astray by punishing him none of them ever tried to communicate with since the time he was a child Anandi with her inherent communication skills became a bridge between J and his family from that very young age itself.

If I have to pick one fault in otherwise perfect man Bhairon Singh it is the way he dealt with child Jagya. He never really tried to communicate with him.

Boys should be dealt with firmly so that they don't get out of control but they should also take time and make efforts to make the kid understand what is wrong with his behaviour and the consequences of it.

I don't ever remember Bhairon having a talk with Jagya when he was a kid. As a result Jagya grew up in fear of his father and learnt to manipulate Dadisa to get protection from her.

If Bhairon and Sumi had been able to communicate with him in a better man he would have never ended up rebelling against everything that his family stood for.

DB - Sanchi I don't even want to think about it.

Shiv's PA - by the looks of her itself it is obvious that she wants to put him in some trouble🤢

This is the question that needs to be answered. It's not about handling it or not.It is about emotional attachments and dependency which often defy logic. Just like Anandi is made to answer about her feelings for Jagya and her attachemnet towards Singhs

Kudos to ganga for not making a big fuss about the ex wife's presence in Jagya's life and career.

Though the ex wife is such a fantastic person like anandi, it is yet to difficult to digest her looming presence forever. It is time to give ganga some relief and some say. As it is anandi is a central character in her sasra and she does not need this double role.

@bold - completely agree, in fact, two-way communication was absent in all relationships in badi haveli - only at later stages they show Bhairo-Anandi and DS-anandi communications. Children were loved/indulged in BH, or ordered/suppressed (bahu like Anandi), but communication from elders to child and from child to elders were absent.

I doubt about Anandi's communication with Jagya though. She understands him - but even she did not communicated with him enough (even a child Jagya did not share much with her, it is another matter that it was she who found out about most of his misadventures and tried to cover up as much as she could). In the current situation - Ganga is the best person to remind him of his duties because by nature Jagya is escapist.

Her understanding of Jagya came with constant association with him.He didn't have to tell her anything she learnt from observing him from close quarters.I think he also understands her well and that's the reason he doesn't object to her seemingly interfering behaviour because most of the time she is speaking his mind out for him.

Initially, they did show Ganga understanding him (only after Ganga's conversation, Jagya thought about saying sorry to Gauri) - and after marriage, she has to take this responsibility also (just like adrak wali chai and tel malish for DS). Jagya will not object Anandi's seemingly interfering behaviour - but it is Ganga's duty to rise for the occasion and should not leave to Anandi to make Jagya understand his duties. They should not show some extremely tolerating women - any woman in Ganga's place would protest.
