It was dark when Bani reached the cottage. It was bit chilly and as the weather repot predicted there is a possibility of snow…Bani thought this is the perfect way to spend her lone time no one will bother her...she had to figure out about the marriage and how to handle Jai. She settled down...putting everything in her room and then she heard the door opened
Young man: you are Miss Dixit, I am thinking..I am Pushkar. It is my aunt who looked after this place…
Bani smiled at him: oo you are Ambika's nephew…How is your aunt?
Pushkar: she is fine...If you need any help just let me know…it will take me about 20 minutes to get here in my Jeep
Bani: yes Thanks a lot. I don't think I need anything as of now Pushkar
Puskar: Food?
Bani: I brought something for me tonight but for tomorrow I will visit your aunt at the grocery store to buy the rest of the food. Thanks Pushkar
Pushkar: one more thing don't leave your door open…locked the door

Pushkar: yes Bye…Goodnight Miss Dixit
After Pushkar left, Bani's gaze shifted to the fireplace where her father told her about stories about Good old time. Bani went and settled on the wooden easy-chair…these are the happiest moment in her life….She looked through the window and it started to snow as she got up to go to the kitchen ….she heard the cottage door opened, without turning
Bani: whatever you have to say Pushkar it can wait for tomorrow….now I would like you to go
Man's voice: but how inhospitable of you, when I have come so far to find you
Bani was stunned. She was too shocked to turn back…Mr Jai Walia is here with her in her cottage.
Bani couldn't speak…She could hardly think. She just stood there, rooted to the spot, staring at him. He can't be here…he shouldn't be here…how else did he know that I was here…only Deb knows…and he wouldn't have told him …of course not..
Jai finally broke the silence: loss of words sweet heart…you seemed to speak very well when Tarun was at your office…change of place break your confidence Jaan…
Bani's throat dried…his arrival had made the cottage suddenly smaller and very cold place to stay in
Jai (huskily): are you cold my angel? Forgive me. (He kicked the door shut) so Bani, are you pleased with the cottage
Bani: I was ..until you arrived, what the hell do you want from me?
Jai(very calm voice): we have to talk about your recent ultimatum you issued ….I am guessing you didn't receive any messages I send you….and if you had received it why would you be here?
Bani: Jai I received that message I choose not to see you …is that too hard for you to swallow?
Jai: well then it was not your decision to make…
Bani(very rudely): well I made my views very clear and you don't seem to follow what I say to you
Jai: uhh so you are still not obeying on what I say?
Bani: I am not Your..
Jai interrupted her: watch it Bani if you say something to provoke me to do something ( his eyes gazed at her lips) I am not at any fault
Bani(angry and bit flushed): I am here to get away from you…if you don't leave then I will leave Jai
He walked to the door and opened it as snow flurries came in: then Go Bani …I am not stopping you…if you know where you are going and you can walk in the snow then go for it ..your decision
There was a silence momentarily. After that Bani turned and wrapping her arms around her body
Jai: You are wise …I applaud ( as he closed the door behind him)
Bani : How did you know I was here? ( as she bit her lower lip)
Jai: before we get to that ….I am very hungry
Bani looked at him: what do you expect me to do?
Jai: well I am your husband so I want you to cook
Bani: how dare you suggest that I will cook for you?
Jai folded his arm across his chest: sweet heart you needed some reminding that I am your husband….that is why I am here….First we will start with you cooking food for me and then we will go from after that…
Bani's heartbeat raced….and: I assure you
Jai: look Bani I am very tired …where is my bedroom?
Bani: it is upstairs
Jai: oo you have no problem sharing your bed with me?
Bani: my room is downstairs…yours is upstairs….
Jai:ok then I will see you in an hour…with my dinner….
Before Bani could respond Jai went upstairs to his room.
