Raghav's long list of betrayals

I have always found that there were many little betrayals on Raghav's part in EMA, but I thought it was poor direction/script. Now I am not sure.

Here's a list of what I consider Raghav's betrayals:

Raghav told Kalpi on holi that he never breaks his promises, which we all now know as a big lie

Raghav left Kalpi who was about to apply holi on him & went with Pakhi, when he could have told Pakhi that he will come down later & let Kalpi apply holi on him first

Raghav let Kalpi & her family wait in agony for him for 2 days without even letting them know that he could not come on that night he had to talk with Kalpi's Parents. That's not only bad manners but also a big betrayal for me, since Sorry can never erase that 2 days agony of Kalpi & her family.

On the night of Kalpi's exam topper party, Raghav danced first with Pakhi & if you observe carefully you'll see that not once did he look at Kalpi while he was dancing with Pakhi. He was even biting his lips like when he is getting hot thoughts. Whereas when Kalpi was dancing with Sammy, she could not take her eyes off Raghav

And the greatest betrayal of all is the Wedding betrayal. If Raghav had decided to marry Pakhi whether out of revenge or blackmail, the decent thing to do if he had really loved Kalpi would have been to tell Kalpi beforehand & not let her wait all hopeful & dressed up at the mandap for him. Like Kalpi told Raghav yesterday, she would have understood even if she would not have liked it. If Raghav could not trust Kalpi enough to discuss his problems, then that's not love because there is no true love without trust.

With this marriage, Raghav is betraying not only Kalpi but also Pakhi who thinks Raghav married her because he loves her.


This is why I find that Raghav Singhania is the greatest dhokebaz/betrayer and Kalpi deserve a true lover and the greatest first hand husband.
