Panchi Bora's a strong believer in Guruji

According to Panchi, "Guruji is God for me. His name is Swami Bhigugiri Maharaj and he is my religious guru. His ashram is situated in Assam named as Panch Kanya Dham." Last month Guruji came to see my work on the sets. With his blessings I received this award and now I'm a part of Star Pariwar." she says.

The Assamese actress will be going back to her hometown, Guwahati, to celebrate her sister's wedding and show her gratefulness to her guru: "I'm going for my sister's wedding and I will definitely visit the ashram. I owe this award to Guruji."

What has made Panchi such a firm believer in her Guru?
"When I was in class 8 my mother was suffering from cancer. Thanks to my Guruji and his blessings, my mother was cured and now she is absolutely fine. I don't follow the strict fast but my mother follows all his rituals."

Panchi Bora got her big break with Balaji Telefilms in Kayamath after being noticed in the first soap to be aired on MTV, Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi. The actress is presently preparing herself for her S.Y.B.A exams.
