Kuch man me aa nahi raha tha to socha ek topic bana lu. Was getting too bored. Me with my family started to watch TMKOC as soon as it started. And we started to like it already. My dad used to watch only this show. It always made him happy. He said that TMKOC actually deals with the real life family problems like Sunderlal. He never wanted to miss a single episode. As soon as we get used to with the show, my dad called my mom "Daya" sometimes, such was the wonderfulness and attraction of this show. It really was a great family comedy show. It filled my family with happiness. He sometimes behave like Nattu Kaka just to make me laugh. I mean Nattu Kaka's behavior of ignoring Jethalal by saying him "Aapne mujhse kuch kaha ?". Now I think my dad can't manage to watch the show because he has been shifted to another city and his job is of a Police Inspector. And I am happy that he do not watch the show now because we all know what the show has to offer us now.

I don't know if you guys agree on this or not but I think women do like to watch daily soaps even more than this type of shows. My mom watches 5 serials including TMKOC. And when Dad comes to home for some days then my mom never watches her serials because my dad watches news channels but when the time is 8:30PM. She always says him to switch the channel to SAB TV and watch TMKOC. I never thought that she likes TMKOC even more than those daily soaps.

Even now, my dad talks about the show.

In my neighborhood, I see many people watching TMKOC most of the times. Even on another society, I saw a kid watching TMKOC.

For the first time ever, when the track was Popatlal-Bulbul marriage track, and the scene was Unconfirmed Groom Marrying Bulbul then my friend sent me a message that "Dibbe ki shaadi nahi hogi". It was the first time that he sent me a message about a show. That track really had a powerful attraction, we all know that as well.

So that was my family story with TMKOC. Don't know if things like that happen in your family or not. So if you guys are happy to share whatever happens in your family about TMKOC then do share it here. I would love to read them 😊

Tmkoc was the best comedy show in its beginning the show saw its fall in end of 2012.The show needs a complete overhaul or a leap so that they can have time to show new problems in the society.But A.k.Modi will never do it and they should read the real tmkoc comics to get new ideas.👏👏👏👏👏

The year 2008 was not really a happy new year.Actually, It turned to be a little different to me. It was the year of severe breakdowns, both in personal life and social life. Lol! 😆 Fir July ko pura shahar pani me dub gaya🤣 Oh! God it was kind of scary when the water started pouring into our rooms so we had to shift to a relative's place.We could not sleep all night, the mere sound of rain would scare us like hell.

It took quite sometime to get over it. Almost everything had to be bought again as the whole house was ruined. Meanwhile, TMKOC was launched. Unlike previous sitcoms,it was the best as it aired everyday. I watched the first episode where Jetha dreamt that he has been taken to the court by GD wasis over Tappu's antics. It was such a reliving thing. The whole family as if needed a recreation to get out of the trauma it had faced. TMKOC was therefore welcomed whole- heartedly.

Thereby each year new problems surfaced but we always tune in to Sab tv and abra a dabra, we seem to forget everything. Lol! my mother still says jethalal dekhna hai. ab itna lamba naam kaun yaad rakkhe. We are genuine lovers of comedy.

One of my uncles is genuine hater of sitcoms. Well, he has his own likes and dislikes but whenever he visited us, he would literally take over the television set. I used to wait like an impatient child to take control of the tv as soon as dinner was served only to watch the repeats. It gave me assurance that life is not only about troubles but also about overcoming them. Now, TMKOC for me is a habit which I cannot stop in a day. I need it for my own self. So, this is my story. Not so good I know and kind of sad also but then jaisi bhi hai meri hai, bahot imandari se nibha rahi hun is jindagi ko...

But makers!!!!! standard ka kuch karo please

@dey.bh, thanks for posting your story 😊 yahi to khasiyat thi TMKOC ki. It is so popular among the families. Yar pls makers is show ko kharab mat hone do. 2014 me achanak aisa aakhir hua kya jisse ek ke baad ek bekar tracks hi aa rahe hain ? 2013 ke december tak to acche acche tracks aate hi the show par. 2013 jaise hi khatam hua, sab khatam ho gaya TMKOC me.

You have create nice thread. ...In my opinion, I agree that It was the best family comedy show But in the beginning not YET. It feel bore to watch it. I think Chidiya Ghar is batter than TMKOC now.

Hmmm, I also think Chidiya Ghar is at least better than TMKOC's current episodes. Even Laapataganj is better than that. TMKOC should learn something from CID. According to me, CID mostly remained constant on producing episodes filled with reality. They still make good episodes. But TMKOC is just going far far away from reality 😡 🤬

Me and mum watch it but not all the time if nothing is happening in the first part of the episode then we turn it, we don't watch film promotions because that's boring and it's always the same. Dad watched a few episodes and concluded the story never moves on, and he's right it funny for a while but if the same track continues for so long it gets boring, Iyar and Babita spent the whole episode giving their sweets out to their neighbours, and there are plenty of these faltu episodes
