to me, aastha is a dishonest, manipulative, insensitive, self important and self-righteous person. thats what she is coming across as in the current track.

Why so much negativity towards Astha? 😳

By force of circumstances, it is learned, this type of policy and now is used for a good cause
Men are not smarter than us women, I think it's Astha, a very intelligent woman.

Oh boy rekha...why are u so angry with astha...atleast she is doing something...is it Ok for Anjali to carry on living as she is..astha may not be right all the time n i agree she can be irritating but her chraracter is not half as bad as NA or even shlok for that matter...remember the SR episode...astha is in a bubble because of khalindi n ajju n her up bringing. ..remember all the fights with shlok when the serial started..she is doing the same now...but it's going to be burst soon by NA...don't worry she will be house broken by shlok n NA then we will have a pessimistic , lifeless, care a damn abt anything or anybody Astha...

Would that be better. ...

i don't understand this negativity and positivity thing. i say what i feel. i was just stating my opinion of aastha in the last two weeks and yes i am annoyed with her portrayal these days. i think you two took my opinion of aastha too personally. here is my POV if you care to understand.

to me, its about sticking to the original characters. aastha is originally flawed person. she is willful but she was also sensitive to others feelings. she was not a manipulative person. though she lies sometimes, she was honest to herself. she stayed with shlok because she loves him. she could not lie to herself and run away from truth. i liked that honesty in her.

if she did all this lying, tricking and getting the birthday party arranged before knowing about anjali's truth, that would have been alright but now it looks really insensitive because anjali is actually not happy because of the party. aastha's main aim should be making anjali happy and not make her die of fear. she is hiding jyothi's whereabouts from her brothers. how does that make sense? and she dangles jyothi as a carrot in front of shlok to get what she wants. anjali doesn't want this bday party actually because she is scared of what she is about to face when NA comes to know of this. it would have been more sensible if she would try to bridge the gap between mother and son by making him wish his mother on her bday instead of making their lives a public spectacle in front of the whole society. anjali clearly told aastha not to make a tamasha of her life in front of everyone. do anjali's wishes matter to aastha at all? how is this helping anjali? is this the right approach to deal with an abuse victim? recently she told kavya that its okay to lie. i am irritated with aastha because they are portraying her flaws as virtues and she is rubbing her favors on jyothi's and shlok's face all the time and demanding them that they do her bidding. she is not likeable to me anymore.

coming to shlok, he is a manipulative, shrewd, emotional guy. he should act that way. not like this spineless, brainless, emotionless person we are seeing in the last two weeks. i don't think i should compare shlok and aastha and say that shlok did all these things to aastha, so aastha can do whatever she wants with him and his family. i don't understand that logic. they should actually highlight how his behavior on SR scarred aastha and make him feel guilty about it. is aastha taking a revenge for what shlok did to her? then how is this a love story? my POV.

I guess we will agree to disagree...well shlok is smart he only responds or reacts when his ego is on the line...as for the b day celebration. ...was it not jyoti who asked for it...astha was just full filling Jyoti's wishes...abt manuplating her hubby...isn't that the norm with most married women...let's not judge until the next few episodes. ...
