Kalpi needed to be strong? Why? What was wrong with the environment that she lived in that required her to be strong? She had a loving father and brother. It's an irony that her mother's behaviour made it necessary for her to be strong. What an unacceptable explanation.

What irked me was they way everyone present swallowed it without a qualm and mentally patted Kamala on her back for her mahan sacrifice.

This lady is truly lucky that her daughter didn't turn against her for life and instead worships the ground she walks on!

And, who did madam mean when she said one daughter is everything to her and that she's everything to the other daughter. No prizes for guessing !

And, just how difficult is to decide who gets Raghav (though, why she thinks she should be deciding this still beatsme!) Raghav and Kalpi love each otheri. Raghav does not love Pakhi and even refused to marry her. So, it stands to reason that the couple marry otherwise three lives will be destroyed if she insists on Raghav marrying Pakhi.

True. I found her explanation really illogical. If you want to make your daughter strong, there are numerous other ways to do it, yeh kaunsa tarika huwa ki uske haq ta pyaar me kisi aur ko de deti hoon, to meri beti strongest woman ho jayegi 😕 for god's sake, the girl was born in midst of poverty. Its her destiny too learn to fight and succeed. Strong hona to use aise hi ajayega!

She is one confusing character. I really had hoped she stood firmly by Kalpi but she chooses others happiness over her own daughter's happiness..
