is anything remotely Muslim in the show apart from the names?

ASAD was a proud practicing Muslim, and thats why the show gained popularity. The lead has to have righteousness, esp if it portrays a religious background

not the religion brigade again.

My dears - none of the shows Hindu/Muslim/Sikh/Others are here to educate the people about how religion is correctly practiced. They are here to entertain and thus use creative liberty. There are religion schools for those who want to get that knowledge of how something is to be done.
