Look guys whats fun for you might not be fun for others .. because these are historical characters , so there are sentiments attached which u guys need to understand and avoid using words which can hurt the sentiments of other members

just how lots of name calling words for Jalal was stopped and recently we hv stopped the use of hukka bai word for Ruqaiyya too , same applies for Jodha as well ... U hv all the right to criticise her action by saying why is Jodha behaving as if she just have a memory loss instead of calling her Ghajini bai ... meaning is same but its all about how u use the words making sure u r not hurting anyone ..

Jyoti, sorry for stepping in, but at the end, we are only talking about characters on tv and not to real history characters and if someone's emotions are hurt due to tv's fictional character, how that could help? After all it is a show and we are not attacking the member or an actor here personally and that freedom definitely should be there to criticise or name a character. We are not naming them in any wrong words. And everyone should understand that, just because he/she is one's fan, they shouldn't stop others to comment on it.

Even if u r talking on TV's fictional character still u got to maintain IF protocol .. right ? .. I m sure u r well aware of a rule called name calling not allowed on IF ... a rule made by IF admins .. Ghajini bai is simple name calling and thats not allowed on IF ...

we wont hv hving any further discussion on this /.. Members need to remember the IF rules and act accordingly and discuss within the IF COC

well i agree with u. but name calling for ruku has been stopped just now. but whenever sumthing is said about jodha actions r taken immediately. just bcoz ruku is a grey character people think tht they can say anything but when sumthing about jodha is said action is taken immediately. the other thread r calling names of jalal & ruku from day 1, but actions r taken from now. yes rules r same for evryone but unfortunately we always come in the minority. but anyways we always try to follow ur rules & we will maintain tht.

jyoti, i do agree with munni, other members have been referring ruq as hukka from day1 and now some minor actions have been taken but i still see her referred as hukka in many comments, its a different story that i do not keep complaining like a nursery student..ans also jalal was referred to as jallaad by many..?

Jyoti, thanks so much for clarifying a few things. We really appreciate it. Just one more clarification, if possible.

Is it that if a post receives multiple complaints, it is addressed, n if it receives fewer complaints, or maybe a single complaint, then it is ignored?...

I ask this, bec I have, on a couple of occasions, personally complained against derogatory comments against the Mughal Sultanate, but to no effect. Of course, I have never bothered to assemble group complaints...y should I?...no IF COC mentions a need for that. Contrary to that, we have seen immediate actions being taken if members post actual dialogues from the show, using the word, "Rajvanshi". Is it fair?

Also, members on other threads have often referred to us as "Jo bashers"...isn't that name calling?..that too, of REAL forum members, as against fictional REEL characters...I have lodged complaints against that too...but to no effect. Doesn't that offend sentiments of people?

We hope the JA DT looks into this matter n ensures that the minority & majority are treated as equals.

Thanks Jyoti, when members report for small issues, it shows their immaturity, not necessary that we need to agree with it, but it is sad that, in a free forum everything is considered as bashing.

There have been times when I've personally complained against being considered a "Jalal worshipper", "Jodha hater" since at the end of the day, I remain a neutral viewer.

And as our friend, Khushi immensely correctly pointed out, WE are living breathing human beings rather than historical REEL characters.

But no action was taken- Isn't that bias? Isn't that a marked liking for a certain section of JA Forum members?

If it isn't , well, I've a hard time believing that.

Till the time we are within the bounds of IF rules & criticise or demean not the members , but stick to healthy discussion of a show's topic; we are within the bounds of decency.

I see Jalal still referred to as Jallad or how "he is getting what he deserves the IDIOT". I see that's name calling too & demeaning a character.

My only request is this - If action is taken , may it be taken for all. 😊

My sentiments were very hurt when my beloved Jalal is referred to in this fashion. But since I am in my 20s & not in a single digit age, I smile & let it go.

I wish the Reporters would do the same. Such negative energy is not required.

Lastly, I admire your spirit to keep check on all threads, it surely must be a taxing job!
