So he went ahead and signed a money-spinning deal for his first non-Balaji serial on Star One

Iqbal Khan Iqbal Khan's extended honeymoon is finally over. He has just signed a very lucrative deal with Miditech Pvt Ltd of Sara Akaash fame. Interestingly Miditech has designed another air-force drama, a daily again for Star One with Iqbal playing an air force officer. Says Iqbal, "I'm finally coming out of my four-month long honeymoon. My wife Sneha was getting a little tired of having me around the house. But she did make sure that I didn't get lazy at home. She's as particular about my meals as she is about my workouts." While Iqbal is totally ready to don the air force officer's uniform he is all set to visit his ex-boss Ekta Kapoor before embarking on his new venture. "I want to seek her good wishes before starting out on my first non-Balaji serial," he says. According to sources Iqbal has been paid a hefty amount to say yes to the Miditech serial. "It's a very good pay packet. Though I was being offered a lot more money by others I chose to work with these people because I liked the concept. We've just shot a teaser trailer." The serial goes on air in July.

Thanks, gd for him he needs work and i hope its a gd show so its worth the hiatus. Chalo, even Chaitanya turned up to SPA, which i didn't get since he has been absent from Star Parivaar even longer than IQ.
Anita does not need the publicity but i wished she'd come just to cheer her shona on stage. It seems Eijoo turned up late as she was no where to be seen in the audience either.
