he was shown a king of hastinapur, though he was blind he had tremendous fighting capacity as we have seen in his entry ( that elephant scene which is not a joke) he had only 1 major flaw of not having vision but irrespective to that he had the ability to fight and was strong enough to handle physical fight then WHY HE DID NOT PARTICIPATE IN KURUKSHETRA?
i know you guys can say that because he had no vision so this thing happened but then he proved in every fight about his capabilities he was a partial king (for his sons) but he was definetly a competent king, mind you i am only saying about physical capability to fight a war as he had that strength that after war, lord krishna actually thought to bring that statue of bheem so that when dritarashtra tries to kill bheem he crushes the whole statue so why he was not there in yudh maidan n was hearing a comentry from sanjay please guys answer me this am i missing some info about this part?

I know the answer sounds drag, but he didn't fight because he was blind. Yes he was strong, he was an able warrior but it will always remain a disability, his sight.

I know he was strong but being blind how could he have stopped the showers of arrows in the war? or could have perceive attack snd defend if attacked from two or three sides? he might have won physical fight one on one but in wma war he would not have been able to b a competent warrior

The real Dhritarashtra was nothing like ⭐️Dhritarashtra. Even though he was strong enough to crush an iron statue of Bhima out of anger, he was nowhere as skilled as shown in this serial. He was a burden who required Bheeshma, Drona, Kripa, Bhurishrava and others to fight his war, while he just enjoyed listening to the war commentary from Sanjaya. Worthless piece of human debris.

But yeah, had the real Dhritarashtra been anything like the one shown here, then using shabdbedi alone, he could & should have fought the war.

bottom line------ he was piece of junk
had he stopped his stupid sons ...no war would have happened...its human to be jealous but what all u do in it is what counts...and draupadi vastraharan was definately the limits, being the king he could have stopped it in a jiffy ...

gud krishna did whatever he could to ensure those sorry pieces got what they deserved...

i am wondering when krishna will come back on this earth again too many of those evil ppl are back on earth and making this a miserable place

Starbharata represented its own version of Dhritarashtra. Although he was strong enough to crush an iron statue into pieces, he certainly lacked the ability to participate in a war.
