See i've always been reallly confused...

In the hindu religion if you put sindoor on someone's maang... and then do the saat phere... ur considered married rite.... with all the mantras and everything....

sooo in when Angad put sindoor on kripa... aren't they technically married since they're both hindus.

Like that happens in all these shows.

Or is religion and religious beliefs given a back seat... and the law (so official marriages before the law) given more significance.

Clearly law is given more importance.... do u think that is right?

Should sindoor and all be ignored... and like even in Islam i think u have to say kaboool and the qazi ( the priest I think) has to read prayers and then u say whether u agree or disagree....

but then u also need ur marriiage papers.

Do u believe that religious actions are enough to call someone husband and wife or do u believe that approval from the law is necessary?

I am not a hindu but I will say that, its not only sindoor n the pheres means u are hitched, I think it is the mantra that is recited while the saat phere is what binds u.. 😆

Islamically, its the nikaah recited between the parties with the authority from the girl n the boy, it is then a signed deal no changing minds. 😆

As for court or registration is, all the rules and do u take blah..blahh to be ur lawful wedded wife kinda thing, sign on the certificated, then kiss the bride n u are happy n hitched 😆

i believe its the package totally, signs the deal otherwise there will be guys puttin sindoor and making girl go round a built fire and qabools, its the recitation of mantra/nikah.. that seals..

samaj me aya 😆

Law is more to protect the wife/husbands with all the legal rights of a person with house/children and assets etc........😉

ahhhhh... 😕
I am not religious but yes marriage in India is performed the traditional religious ways. But nowadays, mostly people also sign papers to prove marriage just in case..like sum1 said boy goes around pimping the sindoor with every girl 😆

are yaar, this weddings are recited with special ekta mantra.....

it goes something like this..

"Marriage parties take Ekta ko witness leke, agree to bind in marriage, the marriage can be annulled at anytime by the breaking of mangal sutra or the removal of sindoor from you head, Ekta holds the right to issue divorce papers at any time, any place.....if u are happy right go round 7 times or say kabool 3 times......😆 you are free to marry someone else in the next minute or so😆
