Filmmaker Aditya Chopra, who got married to actress Rani Mukerji in a private ceremony in Italy late last month, hosted a reception for his friends at the Yashraj Bungalow on Sunday night. Several Bollywood celebrities like Karan Johar, Anupam Kher with wife Kirron Kher and choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant attended the party.

A DNA report says that security was beefed up for the reception and no photographers were allowed around the venue. The couple did not even step out for a moment to pose for curious photographers and did their best to keep the party away from the media eye.

Earlier in the day, Rani was clicked by a fan at the Mumbai airport. She was dressed casually in jeans and a red jacket.
