Pavitra Rishta completes 1300 episodes

Balaji Telefilms' long-running show Pavitra Rishta might have been moved from the prime-time spot (9pm) on Zee TV to an early evening slot (6.30pm), but the fire and enthusiasm of the entire team to do really well on the ratings chart has certainly not died down.

And today, the show completes the phenomenal feat of completing 1300 episodes.

The story which started with the love story of Manav and Archana has now gone on to witness quite a few generation leaps. But Manav (earlier played by Sushant Singh Rajput and now essayed by Hiten Tejwani) and Archana (Ankita Lokhande) remain as the pillars for the success of the show. Talented actors Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi along with a lot of young generation actors have taken the story forward. And now, actors like Karan Mehra, Ruhee Bagga, Manish Naggdev, Aparna Dixit, Karan Suchak are doing an equally good job.

Talking on the occasion, Ankita Lokhande told Tellychakkar.com, "It is a great honour to be part of Pavitra Rishta. I have seen many generation leaps happening in the show. And I am thankful to my fans for appreciating my work. I would ask them to look forward to the upcoming twists."

Hiten Tejwani who essays the role of Manav expressed his happiness by saying, "Yes, 1300 is a phenomenal achievement. And we look forward to multiplying this number in the years to come. Pavitra Rishta is even now a widely watched show, and we are enthusiastic to deliver more."

We tried calling Karan Mehra, but could not get through to him. Ekta Kapoor too remained unavailable.

The team of Pavitra Rishta is presently shooting the wedding of Pari (Ruhee Bagga) and Shekar (Karan Suchak). Hence, in their festive mood and attire, they will be celebrating the achievement with a cake-cutting ceremony later today.
