Unless of course it's her actually leaving or about to leave that will make him accept and admit to his feelings. He already has the feelings but is in total denial so something has to happen to make him open his eyes. I can't imagine she will end up leaving and if she does it won't be for long as it's way too early in the story for a separation track.
