Varun Dhawan's next to be a dark thriller

Sriram Raghavan, who was to start shooting for his Varun Dhawan starrer (which is still untitled) by this April end will now begin the shoot in mid-May. Presently the pre-production of the film, which is being produced by Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan's Iluminati Films, is going on which also includes Dhawan doing some workshops. The other cast is also to be locked. As of now besides Dhawan, only Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Huma Qureshi have been signed for the project. The main concern is getting an older actress opposite Dhawan as he will be shown aging a good 15 years or so. It is known that the film is an edgy thriller but now it has come to light that the movie is also a revenge drama. If one remembers Raghavan's Ek Hasina Thi was also a revenge saga where Urmila Matondkar's character takes revenge after being framed by her beau Saif Ali Khan in an illegal firearms' case.
According to a source, a majority of the film will be shot in Pune and some parts in Mumbai.

Milan Talkies & Rohit Dhawan film takes off December to early next year. He then has Mohit Suri film. Which takes off after Mohit finishes his film with Emraan & Vidya

He isn't even confirmed for SRK production. Just a rumour so far.

But what's wrong with having 3 - 4 films per year? Arjun has 4 this year. Deepika/Sonakshi had last year. Anushka has 3 this year that too in last few months of the year.

Mate... I didn't see the aggressive tone. It was just a basic statement and rhetorical question. Maybe it isn't a friendly text tone since I didn't put emoticons. But yeah whatever...😊

Humpty Sharma Ki Dhulania releases in July. That makes it 4 film remaining.

2 will be shot till end of this year. Remaining starts end of this year to early next year. Since ABCD will be shot overseas. It will take up much more time than required.

They're shooting the movie without finalizing an actress? That's odd... Does the actress have no role or something ?

So Mohit suri's film and one of Milan Talkies/Rohit's film will probably release in 2016

Movie will be shot in different eras. He's meant to portray a 20 year old guy to 60 year old man. So the senior actress will have major role but that portion will be shot once the heroine is selected. That part will be shot after ABCD 2 is finished shooting.
