I like Astha....

I like Astha's portrayal as it's been the most consistent. Most people in the forum want her to tell Shlok and Varad that Jyoti is at her house. But how is she going to do that, she can only do what jyoti wants...After how the Agnihotris handled Jyoti's situation the 1st time she came back. ...how are anyone to trust them to do the right thing...expecially now that she is close to term...NA will send her back to Abhay n Shlok worships NA...even if Astha wants to inform Shlok I don't think Khalindi or Jyoti will want it...

Actually only aastha can solve these issues. Because we all know Shlok blindly worship his baba and he can never go against it. The issues like domestic violence can better be handled by women. Its very much sensitive issue for a woman as compared to man. And we have already seen in previous scenario about jyoti that none of the family member including Shlok go against his baba order. So I think its aastha who can better solve this issue . Just my pov.

So, she had to get the video of sulbha tai but at the end NA sent jyoti back with Abhay and her brothers could not do anything. So, its difficult decision for astha to make as it involves the life of not only jyoti but her baby too whom abhay might kill later after she is born.

The only difference is that other characters around her are not behaving according to their original character sketch, and that's why i want writers to concentrate on bringing them back in action too.

Good post agree dear i really love astha and her portrayal too. even though consistent she has come along way too in terms of dealing with things i really feel for her and her dilemma of jyoti's truth how to deal with it and i also agree she has to do what is best for jyoti even though i wish jyoti to help her by letting her brothers know she is safe with out revealing where she is even by phoning from phone box so that astha is not burdened by the guilt of not telling them when they r worried for their sister! some ppl just need excuse to criticise astha but she is most loving and caring and person and can not turn a blind eye like sojal so love her so much and support her on her mission to bring light in agni house!😊 i agree with neelum too i wish CVs involve shlok and others too with astha to bring change not only astha!

I agree everything takes time and NA can't be exposed so soon bcoz that just wont be believable as he is an evil man look how cleverly he got rid of swati and even now that he got avdhoot to sign the land papers and gave aastha a 50% share in business must be a part of his plan if aastha ever crossed him he would use these things against her. Also if she has promised jyoti she wont tell shlok how can she break her word. Thats why she gets jyoti to call the house and tell everyone that she is safe so they would stop worrying about her especailly shlok, varad and her sasubai
