Trained VS Untrained singers..whoz betta?

After seeing Richa's attitude towards her duet partner...and hw she treated him coz she didn't think he was gud enuff coz he wasn't classically trained...I was wonderin bout the fact...tht is it really so that classically trained singers are always betta than untrained singers....I mean sure training helps..but u gotta have a god gift of voice first...then u can train it to make betta....look at Kishore kumar...one of the finest singers India has ever seen....even today ppl copy his style ...he was never trained in music....but that doesn't mean...he was any less than any of the other trained singers of his time...I think tht such a discrimination is unfair....

ya i agree wd u....... if he isn't trained then it doesn't mean that he is bad singer...

i thought that too after seein th epi. well being trained does give u dat extra edge, i mean your more experienced and know the works better but in the end...its really your in born talent that counts. and i dunno, i've always like the un trained talents better for sum reason.

take fame gurukul for example, rex was untraned but he was soo amazing! so was arijeet whowas trained, but in the end there wasnt a big difference between them

yes u need a good voice but voice can also be moduled into d way u wnat it to be..just cus ONE trained singer i.e richa was rude to her partner just cus shes immature doesnt mean ur gunna balme everyone.

but yeah if yur naturally talented its a good thing but u do need training to polish ur natural talent n make it even better.

the thing is we r still in inital stages of d competition n i think people r taking richa thing tooo seriosuly, shes imamture yu can tell by d way she talks and shes maybe a stubborn child, so allow it..at d end of d day BOTH prashant n richa r in top 28 n i m pretty sure dey ahve already made up n look at us dissing d lil girl for something stupid which happens everyday. we fight n den we make up, allow her mann!

yep i agree...its like in dance, it doesn't mean that if som1 doesn't know classical dance, they rn't a gud dancer...som ppl juz hav a natural ability...my cousin is an awesom pianist but neva formally learnt how to play it it juz comes naturally to him.

i know lots of ppl who wer not classically trained singers but they made it big in the industry.. its the voice.. the gift of god that makes them gud inspite of them not being classically trained.. my dad is a very gud singer but he is not trained... he can play harmonium, keyboard and lot of other musical instruments really well but he has never learnt it.. its god's gift.. n i think prashant is gifted as well.. he may not be trined singer and may lack the knowledge of tall and lay.. but he has very pure voice which is the most important and basic thing needed in a singer..

Shaan who is one of the top singers in the industry was not trained when he was launched..
he gave some wondrful hit songs and then decided to learn music.. if he can make it then i think prashant can s well..

i didnt like richa's attitude one bit.. and at that time the point wasnt bout being trained.. it was bout respecting her partner which she failed to do.
sorry to her fans but thats my point of view..
she has a very gud voice and everything but she dosnt have manners 🤢

r u sure about dat? cus i swear his dad was like a big music director or singer or something..so how can he not be trained? n plus hes bengali n most of dem r trained in either singing or dancing?

i knw KK isnt classically trained n god i love him!

whichever singer has blessings from God and who sings from the heart is the better singer

I agree - KK isn't classically trained and he has done over 1000 songs for ads, plus countless GREAT songs in Bollywood! 😳

I think Prashant will make it far, regardless of how Richa has treated him, and their future performance. 😛
