Priyanka Chopra has been jet setting across the United States since the past few weeks. First, she was in Los Angeles to release her third solo international track I can't make you love me' and after that, she flew to Florida to attend an awards night.
After spending the weekend at the awards event, she flew to Las Vegas where she had a mini- family reunion. In between, she also managed to squeeze in time to attend a Britney Spears concert and meet the pop princess.
" Each time she goes to USA, it is always a work related trip. She is mostly stationed at Los Angeles as that is where all the work on her music album happens. But she also makes it a point to go to Las Vegas, where one of her closest cousin lives. After shaking a leg with Hollywood star John Travolta at the awards night in Tampa Bay, Priyanka spent some time with her extended family in the US. This time, it was a family reunion where she was catching up with her folks after a really long time. In between spending time with family, she also got time to attend a Britney Spears concert. In her growing up years, PeeCee has been hugely influenced by Britney as she was considered to be a pop icon. Priyanka's music too reflects the same attitude so when PeeCee knew that she was having a concert, she decided that she would meet her. After the concert ended, PeeCee went up to Britney and met her backstage," says a source close to Priyanka.
Priyanka left for Mumbai the very next day as she had to resume shooting for her Mary Kom biopic.
Her three- week long vacation wrapped up after meeting Britney and now she is back to work. Now, whether this meeting was to collaborate on a track or just generally, we will have to wait and watch!
