The recent heart throb of every girl and the immensely popularParam Singh, better know as Randhir Singh Shekhawat from Channel V's top of the charts showSadda Haq,gets candid with urlremoved about his experiences on the show and lots more!

Tell us a bit about Param? And how different are you from your character Randhir?
>Well, I went to boarding school in Panchgani, studied at MMK college in Mumbai and then went off to London to complete my masters. I am not much of an office desk person, so obviously didn't choose to work, as I am not too patient with all that! I was actually working on a film that came my way, when I was offered the parallel lead on the show Parvarrish' on Sony for a few months. I took that up for about 4-5 months, but it wasn't really my cup of tea. Soon after , Sadda Haq came along! And Param as a person, is totally different from his on screen character Randhir! I'm a nice guy, really love women, - my sister and my mother, not egoistic at all, and not the angry young man that I portray on screen! Though yes, I really love playing the character of Randhir. It's a challenging one, which I am totally enjoying! Playing the young, filled with ego, angry and passionate about engineering - Randhir, has been great! The response towards my character has been lovely too, which I am just loving! Sadda Haq has just been on air since only 5 months, and is already on top of the charts, so how does that feel? It feels great ya! I mean , none of us really expected this. Sadda Haq is an all new show on the channel which came in with a lot of other shows which have already been in the run, and touchwood, we are on the go! The entire Sadda Haq team is really happy and overjoyed with this lovely achievement and we hope to still go strong! The entire cast of Sadda Haq are all a bunch of fresh faces, so how well do you'll get along? Any fun moments on set that you can share with us? >Ohh we get along great! It's fun working with everyone. Our entire cast and crew of the show is just lovely! I am friends with all cast of the show, and we have a lot of fun shooting together! Ek doosre ki taang khechte rahte hai, bahut maza aata hai! It's also a ritual for everyone to have lunch in my room, so we all open our dabbas together and have some great fun! Harshita who plays Sanyukta on the show, is actually a good friend! We are always in sync with each other while shooting our scenes, and extremely comfortable with each other. The comfort level while shooting is an important aspect and if that has settled in then working together is great! And yes, I do irritate her a lot off screen too, which is good fun! (Laughs). And talking about fun moments, well there isn't just one but many, so naming just one or two is tough, but but, there are more to come of course! (Laughs). Your character Randhir has been getting a lot of appreciation and fan following, specially from the girl fans, so how does that feel? >So honestly, some of the tweets and messages from my girl fans really embarrass me! What they say just goes beyond me, but it's kind of funny! (Laughs). Though any appreciation is good appreciation, and I am truly loving the response my character is getting! The female fan following is great too! (Laughs). Overall, I am enjoying playing Randhir on screen, and the positive response towards him is very very overwhelming! Sadda Haq has taken over Channel V's top show which has been on air since 3 years - Dil Dostii Dance, so what do you have to say about that? And how was your experience shooting with the D3 gang for the Holi special? >Well, yes Sadda Haq has taken over D3 to be on top of the chart, but D3 has sustained itself well for 3 years now, so some good credit definitely goes to them! And we all had a great time shooting at Cinevistaas with the entire D3 gang! Kunwar, Shantanu and gang are really really nice, and the whole crew was very welcoming. It was a good fun 3 days, and we all bonded really well. So what's next in store on the show for Sadda Haq fans? Anything interesting going to happen between Randhir and Sanyukta? >You would have to ask my creatives team that! (Laughs). As we actors are not usually aware of what's next in store on the show. And its too soon for anything to happen between Randhir and Sanyukta at this stage, so nothing right now! But yes I can promise a lot of upcoming excitement on the show for fans, which they are surely going to enjoy! Rapid Fire: Favourite Cuisine -Chinese food. The love and support you'll have been showering us with has been lovely! Also, a small request to fans to not spend too much on lavish gifts for us, as even a small card expressing your love for us will do. The effort you guys put in for us is lovely though, and expressing this in words is not enough.
