😭 Here all these years I was slaving away and I did not even know that my husband was a "cheez" and I could "tyag" him or better "sell" him😆 !!!! Are yaar .. though I am not as mahaan as Paro. I am sure Paro loves Rudra lot more than I love my husband and certainly she knows a thing or two more about the faith I was born in but again my creator was not GH and I have to bow to his superior knowledge😉.

I have gained this great knowledge that you can actually Tyag your husband(...eerr don't think too much about those wedding vows.)... ? Oh wish she sells him though...why? How the hell am I going to get the ownership then?... I can tyag mine and buy hers.. how wonderful it would be😉

Please please do not take it as a bashing post. I have no intention of bashing Paro or Sanaya or Ashish... i am just raising a point of view... is a tradition in a culture which has been praticed to get over once materialism should be distorted and construed??

Gagan-Sa she is not sacrificing HIM ( Who is more than cheez 😉 ☺️ )

Rather she is sacrificing her OWN want to BE with him forever.. Thats her deepest wish. And her relationship is THE thing which she is sacrificing here for the person whom she wants to live. 😳

Candy I heard the pandit say she should sacrifice a favorite "cheez" please remember "CHEEZ"... alas I have been again found to be ignorant in my faith.. I always thought pandits were meaning to say material things.

Also think Paro going away from Rudra will make her not want Rudra...phew.!!!! thats an interesting heroine then..😉 my type certainly

Don't take thee literal word.. Hindi is a multi layered language.. Very rich... What the pandit meant some thing that is important to u.. Can't her relationship be the most important thing in her life..

pls dont take this as a bashing post. I hav not started with an intention to bash Sanaya or Paro.. but it has become very unbearable to see that the customs and traditions i follow are being depicted as to be so screwed up . I just was trying to show how ridiculous it looks.

i am a hindhu.. never in my brought up i was told that a person or a relationship can be given up..especially as that would lead to not only ur suffering but also another person/people in equation... hinduism is also a rich culture too. The meaning behind giving up a "thing" is to giv up materialism... to raise above the materialistic needs.

hindhi is a rich language and i am sure we hav better words to convey relationships and people

I an not of this religion so I dont know what they showed yesterday was right or wrong wirh respect to hinduism.. 😳 Personally I have this concept, that God only asks for our loyalty, faith and remembrance in return. God is the Giver. And no worldly sacrifices are needed by Him when it comes to fulfillment of our prayers. Just our faith in God is enough.

Regarding Paro giving up on this relationship. No. her going away will not stop her love for Rudra. She sacrificed her deepest and biggest desire to BE with him. to be in his company. lets see if she is able to stick to that.. ;) Or Rudra will let her do such sacrifice. 😳

umm I have bargained with god for exams! Illogical stupid bargains! And I am sure I am not the first one to do it!!
We made bargains - whether its wrapped in a beautiful package of a mannat and the fulfilment offering - when my little brother was unwell about 4 yrs back..

So when in such a situation that is so devastating and precarious - i think innate feeling comes that u will sacrifice ANYTHING for that loved one.

Interpretation of religion is according to each individual. That does not mean they r disrespecting our gods. Pandithji who knew better told her a generic thing - and the one 'ahem cheez' in her life is her ability to be close to him. and for his wellbeing she is willing to give it up.. because its kind of like u take upon urself a punishment in order to receive a boon.. kind of like a balance of scales..

Why do we do sacrifices and offerings of many different varieties to the gods for other instances? I have seen that custom practised..

For u what may seem an aberration may be faith for another. And I am not talking in context of Rangrasiya actually.
Why do people walk on hot coals? Why do they fast? Do we truly know whether our gods demanded it?
For me its individual interpretation and subjective opinions. my interpretation is as good as urs is what i practice where religion is concerned..
