Well unfortunately yes, we do have such people in apna India. DB is still a relative. We once had a maid who would point out everything and tell what ought to be and what should not be. She'd comment on everything from my mom's cooking style, to our lifestyle, where and how we kept utensils, when we woke up, whether we were always doing some work or always sitting (she thought since we were mostly with pen and paper it meant we were not DOING anything, in her understanding doing meant physical work). It was our summer vacation and I and my brother used to wake up a little late. This woman gave a whole lecture to my parents, questioned their upbringing, said they were spoiling us and especially me as a girl, then narrated how she does not let her girls sleep a minute later than 5:30 AM, mothers have to take such steps from early age or else girls do not get married or get kicked out of sasural after marriage yada yada yada yada!😡
We tolerated her for a week or so and later fired her.😵 That was a bad experience. I mean she'd lecture and glare as if she was some hard boss!🤢 Our society is useless.🤢

yes some people like them are still there they today also follow old customs my mothers uncle who visited last week told us to get early at 4.30 am and do puja and to pray god for more than half an hour and then we shoul not enter kichen bfore bath he is telling us some many instructions to follow we shoud not do self sevice while eating one should serve us
