Yesterday, the forum was in a furor (and we can still read and hear the echoes). And no one was spared, be it Sanaya, Ashish, Gautam Hegde and I hear even Ananyaji was caught up in the whirl wind of criticism (100 tornadoes hitting the US not being enough!)
Today's episode proved plenty for plenty, but what it basically proves is...its all in the script! Time and again I have heard great actors mention this fact, that the hero is always the script. The story has to be strong, and if it is not well penned, nothing can redeem it. No superlative actors, no fantastic music scores, no subtle direction...nothing, nothing will work if the writing is not powerful. At the end of the day, its basically a boy meets girl story. What's new?? Its the way the story is being told!!
Today, if we look objectively, nothing much happened. We all knew what was coming, it was predictable and so should have been boring and should have led to more criticisms and restlessness. Yet, today we are fine with what was shown...why?? Cause what was written made sense. Cause characters were given breathing space. They were given time to justify their thoughts and actions. What happened was natural, and very much real, the characters all being in sync.
The moral of the story, the pen is the mightiest here. Its all in the way the story is written. A good story always ensures a good audience. Next time we find things unacceptable, we have to keep in mind that its not the actors that are responsible, not Rudra or Paro that are acting ridiculous, cause at the end of the day they are just doing their jobs to the best of their abilities, mouthing dialogues or doing actions that are part of the script. Sometimes when things go horribly wrong, we have to dig deeper and keep in mind that the problem might have started behind the camera, and is not in front of the lens.

Eve... I am increasingly becoming your fan... I just said the same in another post. and that a pen is sometimes more powerful than a mass killing machine . In fact it is so powerful that its effects can reverberate through generations!

Agree completely...
This forum is comparatively okay than other forum...
Most sanz,Ashish fans are appreciative of both leads...
But in my opinion there are very very few people who will blame sanz for even tornadoes in USA.
I mean whatever is wrong it's because of sanz's age, face, limited expressions ,too subtle characterization of paro...so some things never change...
But I agree script, story has to be strong so as to feel the connect.

😊thanx...and no please don't be a fan cause there are chances of disappointments there...just be a friend and I m insured for life !!😆
About the pen's might, who has a doubt?? As they have said for centuries, that the pen is mightier than the sword. The written words become history or have the power to rewrite history. And as far as telly shows go...a strong script can only make this boat float...otherwise what's new in a boy meets girl??? The story remains the same, it all depends on the way it is told!!

Very very true.. The best of actors can't go beyond the script.. And since the script was better today the episode fell in place so much better than yesterday!

Sona... this is totally GH and whoever the director is.. nothing to do with actors who are contracted to do what has been written.

Two actors as fabulous as Sanaya and Ashish are bound to have crazy fans. They deserve devoted admirers, no problems there. The issue starts when in order to make one look good, the other is dragged in, compared to, put down. Gosh...whats the fight here...they both are professionals, doing their jobs wonderfully, have no issues with each other and at the end of the day, they are both good friends, getting paid fabulously for all they are doing on screen...and brushing it off , go back to their real worlds to live their lives, while here we are jalaoing our khoon on their behalf...what the heck is wrong with us??😆
