How far can you push in the name of creative liberty? You can make heroine fall off from heights and bring them back to life, make heroes jump off the tallest buildings and land them on their knees ...safe and sound... you can even make an alien fry samosas to feed the statue of liberty...oops... sorry statue of liberty is a non living thing isn't it??...sorry sorry.. okay to the fish in the water in which it stands then??? what don't you think there is fish in that water... oh never mind, just imagine there are big ones.. as big as whales...okay...???
So guys I do believe that every artist has a right to creative liberty. However we see in certain cases that in the name of creative liberty artists or makers start taking liberties with logic...ah! but logic is context related in certain circumstances and its sometimes sacrificed if qualified by genre. The same way what may be appreciated as creativity in one genre will not be tolerated in another.
Do you think symbolism which is being depicted in Rangrasiya without any care to genre and logic is qualified? I mean why can't we have Rudra going out and about on Basanthi the bhais rather than the phatphatiya? thats symbolism too...Oh hang on... before anybody points out.. I know Basanthi is female and Shivji's Nandi is male...but I would like to claim that as my creative liberty...!!! Why??... Mr. GH can depict Rudra as Neelakant literally and I can't draw parallels between Basanthi and Shivji's Nandi??? na na my friend... you are not only trespassing my creative liberty but also discriminating between males and females??? (albeit bhaisonka)
