If I understand Rudra

I think Rudra is scare , that he cant give happy life to Paro, that why he want that she leave him, ever1 tells him how bad he is, he also blame himself for his mother leaving the house, he thinks that he give only pain to people, and he cant see Paro in pain, so that why he want that she leave, a get beter life,
